I joined holders here yesterday and hope to be well rewarded in due course. Not sure about the timelines as I need some cash in around 4 months time to pay a big bill so will see which of my investments will need to fund the cash call. Anyway, even in 4 months I hope to be well up here and if things really take-off I may just have to look to one of the other slower investments to help out. I am lucky I have some options.

I have been holding shares here since the 2.9p days . I have sold a few on occasions but everywhere i look i cant find a more outstanding investment and end up finding myself coming back to this company . Managment are top class , taking a company from a million dollar company to a billion dollar company takes hard work and dedication and our management team have already done this before. The value in the ground is just overwhelming!! We have not even scratched the surface of how much value is down there. Copper is going to be the most sort after commodity going in the years to come! Everything is about electric, cars, solar , wind and nuclear all needs copper to work , computers, phones, charging stations even the bitcoin revolution needs copper to mine it. If you already hold shares here sit on your hands. If you dont hold shares dont wait to long because big major companys must be looking with envy at what this company has in spades and the strip ratio is second to none! DYOR but do it quick.

Cyber, in the current climate I think our copper is a better asset to have than gold. I'm sure free port will be keeping a close eye on ksk as they funded the original exploration and already have Grasberg in Indonesia.

Let's hope so.I just sometimes have a bit of a nasty feeling about value realisation with ARS. Someone will want to take the upside from us.Meanwhile I see today that CMCL is producing 80k ounces of gold in a more ropey country than Indonesia, and is only valued at less than £60M (or £120M for a 100% share).

Canadian tax loss selling usually like clockwork around 15th December opening good opportunities to buy and flip on a 3 week view. Carry back 3 years not helpful this year as few profits in eatly years. Moreover settlement moved from 3 to 2 days giving a new late year end opportunity to trade (tax works on settlement day not purchase for canadians). So less marked move in 2017 than usual.

Hopefully the recent sell down will prove to have been Aussie and Canadian mining investors taking profits for the end of their tax year. New one starts tomorrow!GLA for 2018

Well Mr R. If this year is as good as 2017 for ARS then I'll see my first million £.

But, as I've always said, seeing how the market is so fickle I don't see 50p - 60p until construction of the BKM mine starts.

EDIT: Hang on a mo. Mine construction could well start later this year....

I think we are in for a year of stellar out performance.
Complete the bkm bfs, raise finance for mine build.
Further explore and prove up the other 30 odd concessions on ksk.
Confirm continuity at depth between bkz and bkm
Betting license and exploration

Add this in to a rising copper price and market deficit and we should be able to exit 2018 with a mkt cap around 300m and be 10mths from production.
Nb a 25k tonne producer equals a mkt cap of 500m.

Obviously this is unless we are taken out, which I think is a real possibility.

Would expect some sort of bid shortly after the bkm bfs. That's a major derisking point for any acquirer. 50-60p would get my interest.

'Strange, but I dont see this on any of the hot picks lists for 2018. Still under the radar I guess.'

Very much so - no complaints here though - to paraphrase Enstein: everything in life should be considered relative to the position it is being observed from.

As a result of the outstanding BK area exploration drilling results and excellent BKM Metallurgical Test-work results reported in H2/2017, I consider the investment case today at a 10p share-price, superior to the summer when the share-price was circa 4-5p.

Consequently, have repeatedly averaged up during H2/2017, as the extended high grade mineralisation news continued to unfold across all BK prospects and, the hugely material prospect raised of possible continuity between BKM and BKZ.

Used a similar approach with my most successful equity investment to date - Clarkson's CKN, - averaged up seventeen times in line with the improving shipping industry news following an initial position at 90p in 2000. By 2008 the shares were trading at more than ten times that price, and today trade at more than 30 times that price.
