From yesterdays close the share price is up 40p on 534,000 volume .
It looks to me a very dubious move, but as always I live in hope, with my finger on the sell button.

Thanks Bracke.As a longer term investor, rather than day trader, it doesn't influence my decision one way or another but from a technical perspective there is no reason at all IMV why the trades cannot be registered correctly rather than rely on software interpolating/guessing.At least if it gets to parliament it may lead to other debates about the need for tighter controls, particularly in AIM......not just AIM either!.....a level playing field would be nice but somehow doubt it will ever happen!.DD

The DOW took a dive on Friday to close at 17535 which was the lowest close since 28 March also 17535. If the current fall is a shakeout due to poor US earnings no big problem. A further fall and hold below 17500 will target 17400 after that you will not want to read.

An unsuccessful half hearted attempt to break above 900.

The likelyhood is a test of the last low at 865 failure to hold and 847 the next possible support.

Umm, Oil starting to turn, miners getting slammed (deservedly (copper never rose as much as the miners did for example)), markets looking weak and the barren land soon between earning seasons, China still popping out poor data (and probably a touch on the rosy side as they always do).... the whiff is a touch stronger. Still short FTSE, now short oil too.

Still short FTSE, and halved my position in AHT this week. Bounced down off the 100 DMA and we are either in a temp market correction off some pretty poor market data after a decent bounce from Feb or on the cusp of something far more sinister. Beware.....

Dollar is on the cusp of a technical break down below the 93 mark on DXY chart (daily). This would hurt AHT further..... Its not Armageddon yet but I don't like the whiff of it at the moment.

Results should be good but you dont want to be holding this puppy if it all goes pear shaped on the global forward outlook.

The more difficult one is where next. It's either back up to have another try to break beyond 928 or drop further to the 860 zone.

Took 1/3rd of my position off the table early yesterday to try and insulate against Brackes gap filling. I am fairly confident we won't see the lows of earlier in the year again so looking to re enter in the near future.

Is this a new campaign or a rearguard action?
Trying to play the volatility .
I have a base long spread bet on, when the S/P rises to 925 or near close I have been forcing a short to cover the long ,keeping it on overnight to counter large gaps down, that are so loved by the shorters and MM.
