Good morning 2flat

Yes I noticed yesterdays postings. Shame there was not more substance.

The gap is only a couple of pence and may be considered a small one. Although it occurs at the reversal of a sizeable pull back, its size does not suggest a breakaway gap which are larger.

I consider it to be a common gap that has remained unfilled because the market does not consider it worthwhile to return to fill. You need to consider why gaps are filled.

The market will not be looking to drop the share price merely to fill the gap. If the share price has a large fall, which currently appears unlikely, the gap may be filled as part of the fall process.

Good morning bracke
without you yesterday we had to amuse ourselves.
from your post can I take it that the 841.5 is off the currant agenda.
As my financial advisor (the monkey has had his pin straitened ) indicates we are in a definite don't know phase
Cheers

Good day fellow posters

Ref Gaps

I have posted previously that there are different types of gaps. I will not describe them to you. You can find out yourselves.

Ref SP

In my last post I stated that a retrace was likely; I still hold to that view. The share price has reached the top of an ascending wedge and whilst a break out to the top side cannot be discounted (beware of false breaks) a fall to the lower line of the wedge is more probable.

Such a fall would take the share price to the 900 zone.

Fenners66 - news hijacking - yes it is awful. With news alerts you can get rid of the alliance messages by turning off the non regulatory news items.

2fp,

I think that 'filling gaps' is an esoterical concept that bracke believes justifies his desire to go short on AHT. However ultimately they are self fulfilling, because what goes up must come down - hopefully not whilst I'm still holding!

Ian, bracke
what has happened to all to gap talk?

Just Googled it, Watford gap is a Chartist term for a gap that never gets filled.
Oh well back to the old system ,wait for £10 then I will jump in.
cheers

Gapper or gaper? I'm not sure it matters, but I very much fear that as the price continues to rise, 2fp may be suffering from a case of premature evacuation?

However, as the old cliches have it, it's never wrong to bank a profit, and you should always leave a little profit for the next man etc, etc..

Congratulations 2fp on your successful trade!

I'm worried 2flatpack has voyeuristically styled himself a "Watford gaper" as opposed to a "Watford gapper"

'Treason' is not a chartist term as you well know.

Don't you go blaming me for selling your fellow AHT'ers down the river or gap.

Has everyone else experienced the hijacking of the news monitor today?

What I have gotten used to these past few years is opening my monitor(s) looking at the price action and switching to the news tab. The news is then tailored to the monitor so any news related price action is usually easy to discern.

This morning the monitor news page was flooded with links to Alliance news which then invites me to a free trial instead of giving me the item - complete boll ocks I just want it back the way it was yesterday.

So from now I guess they are trying to get me to pay for the news.

That's the problem with "self styled gurus" always changing their mind , like the wind , and then claiming responsibility for the weather.

treason is that a chartist term.
You can take full credit for my conversion to a Watford gaper.
I've tried buying at the top and selling at the bottom. I thought I would try it the other way round for a change.

Good afternoon fenners

I was just about to take you to task when I saw the last sentence of your post.

"Ramper"

Certainly not, just saying it the way it is.

I will be surprised and you will be very fortunate if the share price remains at £10 by April. Of course you would not object if it was above £10 by April.

I am being visited by the 'shorting demons' who are urging me to take a short trade but thus far I have cast them off with a 'get thee behind me demons'. How long I can keep them at bay I know not. It is becoming very difficult to do so.

Ramper!

Look lets be clear, none of us want this to run up too far too quickly, so a gentle rise to ("Infinity and beyond!") £10 maybe £10+ by April the 6th next year is fine .... slowly slowly is fine.

Well when I say none of us I at least mean me....

You've what!!! Taken profit!!!

That is not the behaviour expected from an avowed AHT'er.

'Treason' is not a word to be used lightly but if the cap fits.........

If the share price can hold at 950 (this assumes that there are no more traitorous sells); then there is nothing on the chart to prevent an attempt at 990.
