if the FTSE and markets recover and take out this years high then hopefully that will mean a push north here. I continue to hold

Can't give you an honest answer, i've been in here for nearly 10 yrs now, still to see a profit for my troubles.

But, Intrim out soon, mid sept?

Not been close to 19.5p, since sept 09.

Hopefully it will start a move upwards as reporting is due, then move on upwards to break past the 19.5 set last year, with (hopefully) a good set of 6 month results, and a good divi to follow.

I'll start this of with.

What's going on here! Why are we being held back by MM's!!!!!!!!!!!!

The future must be brighter for LA.
1) Money in bank - cash at hand.
2) No Debt.
3) New / developing outlets - train stations.
4) Management with finger on pulse.

a) Oversold?
b) Ripe for take over?
c) Ripe for management buyout??

No harm in trying. How much will ALY expand? and how? management are on the ball for sure , finger on the pulse one might say. No debt, lots of cash in the bank, business model changing towards more income, good divi, but not a much traded stock? I rest my case here, no point in posting again.Best of luck to investers.

philmac56 I dont think that is the case here, there is a lot of equity in this stock, and punters know it.A lot of investers in ALY will reinvest there DIVI at any time ,this stock is slow but when you look at the chart it has a lot of movement in a short space of time.Look what some one paid on plus markets today 13.85 for 100k. way over ask. Not an easy stock to follow, as it is little traded, plus the MMs seem to work it.Not a trading stock.ALY can move hard at any time, the % changes mean little it seems on the daily basis. The market is a strange place, never forget it is real money being traded here. Some good posts on here.

I can't understand, why investors seem to sell as soon as they have their divi cheque! in hand/banked.

Why wait, as soon as the record date is passed, it is safe to sell.

Unless they are hoping for an upward movement, some how, it doesn't seem to happen!!

I'd expect an upward movement when divi is announced, and prior to reord date, but again, very little movement.

WHY!!!!

ANY IDEA's

FTSE and markets recovering, perhaps a push to new highs by end of year ? should be reflected here IMO
