If the Group is unable to secure commitment for the requisite level of funding by the end of March to satisfy its ongoing working capital requirements and turnaround plan, then the Company will need to consider all appropriate options.

A legal team that looks at anything are only likely to bring a sack to take away anything that they can lay there hands on to enrich themselves and then chop the rest up for firewood.

Is was pulled in 2015 when the management ruined the balanced sheet
by buying the Singapore building. Then leaving it empty.
Maybe a few questions need asking by a legal team as to why, to whom
and what date was the divorce decided to be settled in London?

It moved quickly from 2p to 4p and it should have continued
but for the unneccessary statement re funding.
Just hope the new management pull us through before the owners
try another trick and they will. We bought the Singapore building for £28m
sold it for £31m and they said we lost £4m, really.

I think it will take a long time to recover this stock. It needs a shake up internally. Buyout?

As Laura Ashley fights for survival, how do you revive a heritage brand?
By Grace Bowden3 March 2020

Laura Ashley
Laura Ashley may have suffered torrid trading over the past few years, but it started 2020 by taking action to stop the rot. With a £20m loan secured and a new boss in post, can the heritage retailer do enough to survive?

Laura Ashley posted widening pre-tax losses at the interim mark earlier this month, while like-for-like sales slumped 10.4% and online sales slid 15.5%.

Two rns's out.

New ceo with immediate effect. Whenever I here new management it always takes
me back to the zulu principle book by Jim Slater.

Loss again.

Talk of pushing the original LA, must have listened to
the Guardian.

What we need here is an activist shareholder and MUI reducing their stake.

Excellent well done the BBC, covered both negative
