19/2/2020 14:24 | Loads of companies think they are undervalued and Directors are bound to say that but in reality often you find that within weeks they are in administration. | clocktower
19/2/2020 12:24 | L Yes I posted the same on the other thread. dyor | srpactive

19/2/2020 08:23 | C They already have ( 2.7p ) I posted the information the other day. They said it undervalued the company, so deal with the repercussions of that management. ---------------- | srpactive
19/2/2020 08:15 | Problem, is they have the power to refuse a bid which imo is against the interests of PI`s | clocktower
18/2/2020 17:59 | You stick to Primark Woodhawk, a much better fit for your budget. | hodhasharon
18/2/2020 12:27 | NY Boy, I cashed-in my ALY shares circa 20p (at a small loss) shortly after I went to look at my nearest LA store - tired, tatty and devoid of customers. | woodhawk
18/2/2020 11:23 | have followed this one for years and always wondered what the end game would be...putting things into perspective they turn over a 9 figure sum....so despite the doomsayers people are buying things off them (so the brand is still relevant)...margins are slim (as per all of retail)... this crisis has been looming for sometime and reflects how MUI manage their other businesses....always goes down to the wire, but they step in / get a deal done at the last minute... as i see it the brand is seen as a 'trophy asset' and i feel the listing is important from a face point of view...so crisis will be averted but shares going nowhere in next few month...famous last words | savagedstock
18/2/2020 11:13 | I had not realised that this thread was in use, so just caught up with the 351 posts. Previously I last posted this on the other thread fenners66 4 Jul '19 - 20:32 - 4505 of 4505 Edit "clock - the "different company now" is majority owned and imo is going private. Yes there may eventually be a bid premium -but from what low price 1p?" However now I wonder what % of the debt MUI have ? "These arrangements do not involve a cash injection by MUI Asia Limited into the Group. " I had thought that taking this private at something above 1p was the plan. I had missed the lesson from the Debenhams debacle. The equity matters not , its the debt holders that have the power. So perhaps MUI or related party has bought / is owned the debt - and the option as we learned from Debs is actually take this private for zero cost of equity. As some have already asked - what happened to the funds from the sale of the Singapore white elephant ? Why did so many directors walk away ? I am coming to the conclusion that "MUI" are smarter than I thought. Sorry if that does not fit with the optimistic view - but I have been saying similar on the other board for years. Think about it , really experienced millionaires , they know what they are doing. | fenners66
18/2/2020 07:38 | Never been the same since Laura fell down the stairs at home and came to a tragic end. LA was all the rage in the 80’s, I have not been in a store since then, hopelessly lost in a time warp. I noticed a while ago their store in Knightsbridge closed but it stood out like a sore thumb, faded and dated. Don’t see any reason to be a buyer of stock here. | ny boy
17/2/2020 22:11 | U Yes do not bother there now, will just disappear from here too. Continue to hold. dyor all active | srpactive

17/2/2020 19:24 | Srp,I think there have been reasons to be positive. There still are. And there are lots of reasons not to be positive. You and others pay their money and take their choice. I have valued your optimism.G. | garth
17/2/2020 18:27 | K I will stop then. Only posted news of late I have found on line. But point taken, on situations like this investors make their own choices and do their own research as always stated. I will remove my earlier posts. | srpactive
