Never seen it so good from 2p up srp but I would wait before you add as I expect some sellers or profit takers will soon appear. Just my view no advice intended DYOR.

L2 looking more positive than I have seen it for some time - with a much strong buy bid than offer.

Well said, but I am still buying in hope of a turnaround, the
other article I posted re the tea rooms etc was interesting to say the least.

It would be good if the management statements included some positives
instead of negatives all the time. Their statements are negative to ensure
maximum worry and keeping investors away, but speaking to the industry
magazines etc the articles are positive. It is so obvious what they are doing,
as they need these people onside but not investors.

It is about time the financial journalists helped the private investors to thwart
the obvious tactic, once the price gets somewhere sensible a decent bid could
come forward.

srpactive, Its not LA that`s the problem, it`s what has gone on around the management and in particular the property dealings that were done in Singapore that resulted in a loss, along with other serious concerns surround it when it was purchased. However, if this was under new and trusted management I believe there would be a strong recovery but they have taken the right steps in the way they are focusing the company. It just a shame about the way the major shareholder has acted and sacrificed all trust as far as shareholders are concerned imo.

Not all doom and gloom with retailers.

Zara and Boohoo.

With our Urban Outfitters collaboration we could do okay.

We shall see.

Lets hope the share price increase is a sign that the better
news from some parts of the business are feeding through.

Lets hope the phoenix is rising.

Yes agree, these people are supposed to ensure all is right and
correct, everyone knows what has gone on here since July 2015.

Accept everything you post.

I was just posting what the management said about the value
of the bid they turned down, 2.78p.

If they want it after saying that they will have to pay more.

"This is worth a read.

Its old news and it was at less than the share price - rejected out of hand.
Since they already own a majority why would they sell ?

Still believe this is going private when the price is right....

It does seem they are attempting to focus on where the money
is. Lets hope this feeds through to the bottom line.

Market cap of £15m
About 60% in their hands so £5m to complete

I would guess they want to pay less or at least bid when share price is lower so they don't pay any more....

1p with a 1.5p bid ?

Thanks for all the links srpactive - LA seem now to be targeting a much lower age group, and it may well work.

The Tea Rooms provide the class image - a recovery is possible.

Just read that MMR,the LA auditors in 2016 got fined £875k but reduced to just over 50% for cooperating !! Just shows what you can get away with by not having a good, qualified CFO.
