06/10/2017 19:45 | Just about sums it up...still debating. Get it done! Politicians - don't you love them. They are more interested in knifing each other than actually doing a productive days work. | topvest

02/10/2017 08:29 | I suppose the question is really whether there is another company doing well in the same market (care and supported housing), under the same influences ? If so, then I've bought into the wrong business. If not, then I've bought into something where I knew there were and were likely to be heavy political influences at work (for good and bad) and its just tough ! | yump
02/10/2017 08:19 | It's just bad luck. I feel they're doing everything right. Focusing on the right markets with a lot of potential and a growing pipeline. Government's inertia is out of their control. I have a long position and will hold. | greedfear
02/10/2017 07:15 | Well looks a bit dire for H1 with virtually no revenue and little positive confirmation that F1 Modular is profitable, so it probably isn't. Then again the auditors have signed-off the accounts without a reference to going concern in their audit report, so they must have credible funding plans on the extra care projects which means that they can do something in H2 and raise some much needed cash. They have been very unlucky. EDIT - F1 is profitable and made a £50k contribution if you gross-up the MI accounting. | topvest
02/10/2017 07:06 | I suppose it depends on whether the model is based on a reasonable expectation of government actually doing something at some point. Legislative delays are the norm for quite a few businesses dealing with the public sector. Exceptional delays like this one look like they are just bad luck, especially when there is the real world problem of care housing to sort out nationwide. I don't think ASH can be criticised for starting a model that aimed to be in this market - it must have looked quite attractive and it could still be. But when they were planning a few years ago, I bet they didn't put Brexit into the equation. | yump
02/10/2017 06:31 | Again jam tomorrow - tomorrow - tomorrow - Unless pipeline unblocked soon starting to look like a broken business model (imo) HMG have virtually no funds and the alternative - Corb would take back in house - unionise it - and cost twice as much - Emigrate !! | pugugly
13/9/2017 10:23 | A sell of 55,000 shares made look like a buy by decreasing the bid to 6.5p. | greedfear

05/9/2017 12:17 | I don't disagree with your sentiment and it's unfortunate that they have been caught like many are on the wrong side of Govt policy changes. Results should have been out by July at the latest - not very satisfactory but as investors we have choices. | norbert colon
05/9/2017 11:45 | Lol. If everything was tickertyboo they would just trot them out regardless along with a proper trading update giving some guidance.Instead you have emergency adhoc unpalatable loans senior and secured from director's wives etc to stave of short term solvency woes.Clearly even the banks dont wanna touch this one anymore! | my retirement fund
05/9/2017 10:30 | I believe that various things are happening behind the scenes (one of which could possibly be the scenario you suggest although I don't personally believe so) and hence the delay in release of results. Other potential reasons for a delay are more positive but we will have to wait. Frustrating but patience needed. | norbert colon
05/9/2017 09:26 | Results 2 months and waiting. Guess they are really struggling to sign this one off as a going concern | my retirement fund
