Ascent Resources files tweaks to Slovenia permit request
20 August 2018 | 13:35pm
StockMarketWire.com - Ascent Resources said it had submitted amendments requested by Slovenian authorities regarding a permitting application for a processing plant adjacent to the Petisovci gas field near Lendava.

The remaining outstanding points would be answered in full during the first week of September 2018, the company added.

'I am pleased that we have again responded to the requested amendments in a timely fashion and look forward to filing the final documents in the coming weeks,' chief executive Colin Hutchinson said.

The analysis shows the reserves are there.

There is gas in the ground.

The problem is, once you have drained the frac porosity, the tight rock restricts flow to the point that the wells will not flow due to the high pressure required to enter the INA pipeline.

More, or bigger fracture treatments are a solution, but eventually you face the same problem.

The solution is gas compression.

The gas flowing at the lower wellhead pressure is compressed so it can be put into the INA pipeline.

In this manner, you can extract nearly all the gas in the reservoir, as the pressure declines.

Declining reservoir pressures = declining production.

The company is viable with a little work.

In Petišovci the non-hazardous hydraulic breakage procedure: -

It is planned to use a maximum of 1800 cubic metres of water per well.

May 21, 2018 at 13:24

Geoenergo, which requested permission for hydraulic fracturing of gas wells in Petišovci, explained that it wanted to ensure the non-hazardous procedure described in the application submitted to the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia.

The vortices will not be hydraulically treated simultaneously, but one after the other, and the intervention will not affect the aquatic condition in the area, they stated.

"The duration of the hydraulic fracturing will be roughly about two to five hours per boreal phase for a single borehole, up to a maximum of 25 hours per bore hole. The execution of all preparatory work in connection with fracturing will last for about one to two weeks," they wrote.

The refluxing liquid will be caught in the mobile cistern and used for breaking another well, after use, to persons authorized to handle the waste.

The procedure will only begin after the environmental permit has been obtained, and after the equipment has been checked together with the mining contractor and all the equipment has been properly tested and inspected.

It is envisaged to consume no more than 1800 cubic meters of water per well during the whole fracturing process.

Since this will be a relatively small amount of water used for hydraulic fracturing, the operation will not affect the aquatic condition in the area.

The envisaged procedure will be on the same scale as in 2011, so they emphasize that they do not adhere to the claim that the hydraulic stimulation procedure should be carried out at a slightly higher scale this time than before.

"It should also be noted that the hydraulic fracturing process during the production of the hole is not carried out and that it is a one-off character process, which is usually not repeated in the same gaseous layers," they added.

First offer likely price - 2.5p in my opinion.
That will give CH and CC their option shares profit as a nice leaving bonus, but then expect them to reject that offer to seek more. 3p anyone?

All AST need is the Ministers signature on the IPPC document.

Two bidders would be nice but they may have already carved up a joint deal to save them money. It is Slovenia after all...

ARSO need to realise that it is September soon so time to get things moving.

Cannot hold it up much longer...

"Infrastructure in place to sell up to 8.5 MMscfd to INA"

Unfortunately we are selling 1 !

If we were selling 8.5 then our Annual Revenue would be £17 million (plus condensate) !

Already got RBD and sitting on a nice profit with a lot more to follow.
Next in line is AAOG and UPL. Patience pays.

AST is a slow burner but will pay dividends next.
Not long to wait here, methinks.

The charts also are looking good.

Come on CH do something before your gardening leave officially commences.
You data room is showing someone dormant OIL plus the Gas.
It is time to think like a Russian...(I protect what I have!).

Is someone about to rework these P Project fields for more oil using newer technologies. A favourable consortium bid is being rumoured.

The data room logs show the gas, but do not overlook that dormant Oil.

Cadogan are out, and the hidden Russians still want to maintain their energy control.

The M & A teams are now back at work and talking that their is some nice MONEY to be made, if rumours are to be believed..

Come on CH come clean and do a Vox interview before you go on 'gardening leave'...
Just 2 days left..... Permit news due....

Fair point... Just think though... If you had invested £10,000 in this stock 3 weeks ago, (at the time when many, who shall remain nameless, were spending their time de-ramping it) it would now be worth £25,500. :-))))))More to the point, £25k is now worth just over £60k. :-)))))))))£££))))

It dropped 10% yesterday on a 8m sell, so it can change very quickly CAD were rumoured to have made a 4p bid 2 years ago, however, there were only 157m shares in issue and the IPPC was looming (again). A few more shares now! Of course there had just been a 20-1 consolidation in November 2015 from over 3 billion shares. De ja vu ?
