Look at the crazy share price and Mcap.

They are not going to sell out at 1.1p so waiting to top up with quite a few more this afternoon. Come on MMs give us some money, dip it below 1p again please...

But for how long would it take before the unrefined gas ran out you'll be asking ?

As a starting point let's consider a gas flow of just over 1 million cubic metres per month (June 2018) !
That's 13 million cubic metres a year !

So it'll run out in a hundred years !

Of course when it is all up and running it'll only be running for around 3 years !

Ah the legendary 456 Bcf (P50) !

That's 1.3 billion cubic metres !

Now for 1 million cubic metres of unrefined gas we got 190,000 euros (June 2018).

So for 1.3 billion cubic metres we'd get 75% of 250 million euros...

...and for 140 million MWhs (i.e. same as above) we'd get 75% of 250 million euros.

AST current market cap: £25 million

Debt = £0
Cash position roughly = £1m
2 producing wells (Pg-10 & Pg-11a) which can have a combined flow of 11 MMscfd
Currently selling 1 MMscfd to INA for annual sales of over £2m (plus concentrate)
Infrastructure in place to sell up to 8.5 MMscfd to INA
90% of revenue payable to AST until all costs recovered
Large tax breaks due to previous year's loses

Gas in place was independently assessed in 2013 at 456 Bcf (P50)
Phase 2 plan to deepen 7 existing wells and drill 6 infill wells to take production up to 35 MMscfd for 10 years
Plan is to re-complete 2 wells early 2019 (Pg-7 & Pg-9)
35 MMscfd would generate 66 million euros annual sales revenue at today's gas price
IPPC permit required to build gas treatment facility to feed into the Slovenian grid - final NGO blocker removed
Gas Treatment facility will cost EUR 10m

So... this one could be suspended at any time couldn't it? We know that several interested parties are engaged in discussions re a takeover. My prediction, a bid just shy of 2.6p. I really, really would be wanting to maximise my holdings on this stock at the moment... I certainly wouldn't want to be out of it... (Other than through the butler, at the Hilton beach gazebo the wife and me are currently in, plying me with excellent whisky and champagne)... Good luck all...

I've just checked my ISA holding :-

10/03/2017 Bought 2.00p 100,000 £2,011.95
31/01/2017 Bought 2.50p 70,000 £1,758.45
08/08/2016 Bought 1.32p 30,000 £407.20

So my break even price is 2.1p

In my SIPP I have a lot more which I bought at a much lower price.

I'll be happy with 2.25p !
