05/1/2017 13:24 | RNS out on alleged legal claim and pretty much situation as we all expected… noise: “Asa Resource is aware of recent press reports about proceedings against the Company by Zindico Consortium in respect of the Group's Freda Rebecca mine. The Group wishes to confirm that it has not been served with any court papers and has no knowledge of the alleged claim. There has been no communication with Zindico or any other party about the allegations. The Group will make a further announcement as appropriate” | redtrend
05/1/2017 12:03 | As most say and I posted yesterday appears noise - someone on LSE put interesting post on this: "Lawsuit / Zim Herald I'm familiar with this story. I know for a fact that back in December 2014 there was a suggestion by Mpinga that some people might be interested in buying 26%. This to my knowledge was at the root of the following palace revolt of then MWA, mainly because of people wanting to come in on the cheap after investors, including the Chinese had been putting tens of millions into the company to get it back going again. To the best of my knowledge, the board never approved the sale and without its ratification the transaction is null and void. This has all the hallmarks of disgruntled ex-management. I believe the main man behind Zindico lives in London, if so, not very indigenous or helpful to the people in Zimbabwe! At best, it's a distraction." | redtrend
05/1/2017 11:53 | SP not reflecting the improvements in gold and nickel over past few days . | juju44
05/1/2017 11:36 | I assume this is an attempt to bully ASA out of its lunch money using the threat of the indigenization law. When they say 'we had an agreement to purchase' they mean 'Kalaa Mpinga promised to let us rob you'. The Chinese will be unimpressed. | caedwalla
05/1/2017 11:30 | par for the course in Zim noise just like the 1% move in nickel idiots were getting excited about | the stigologist
