Just joined with a short. This has continued to rise recently on back of favoured (defensively) IT sector. If sector takes adjustment hit or stalls will drop at double the rate. But crazy valuation anyway

Hoping to reopen short if there's a bounce tomorrow.

Shame I only went in for a 1/3 of normal size short as I thought it may rise.

I have nothing personal against the company or its management. Its just an impersonal attack on the share price

Shanksaj,

I don't have a problem with the company, in fact good luck to them. It's not their fault that the market chooses to value the stock incorrectly. I mean why would you pay £160 million for a company with no profits, low revenues and only a small amount of cash on the balance sheet. If the shares fell 80-90% they would probably be fairly valued in my opinion.

11% plus fall. That puts Artilium in the top ten list of biggest fallers today so far. Go on Arta, I want my money back! You know you're worthless rubbish.. now show the world!

Just found that my limit order had been hit at 305p. Wondering if I should have set it a bit lower now...

i think the whole Microsoft Gold Partner and constant reference to Microsoft is a smoke screen, from what i remember this status doesn't really mean that much and anyone can develop software solutions on the ".Net" format - the whole Unified Communications field is a wide open market (basically cheap call routing and convergence of voice/message etc) with many players and interesting to see that whilst on the one hand ARTA profess to looking to be a "world leader in Unified Communications" as per the results statement, on the other they say they are not looking at vying for the big company competition that Cisco, Nortel etc are after?!!

Rather conflicting intentions it would seem...

Execellent ... I still think it has highrer to go before I put my short in. I think I may open a small one to average down as the price rises.

Last time this was shorted to 89p from 309p ... so many to be made.

Goldstar - i'm trying to dig a little deeper into ARTA and have a very good connection who knows the company well - however he still has a sizeable holding which he's slowly offloading and won't tell me more until he's out...

also - does anyone know how many of those warrants there are at 75p? They have to be exercised by the end of December...

maybe - but for a while the tide has been pushing in one direction and i'm not convinced it's yet ready to turn. That said £185 mkt cap for this is f'ing ridiculous!
