10/9/2009 08:37 | Still do (0.65p the last 2 years) - just a final, no interim | call-logger
10/9/2009 08:27 | Yes - a very encouraging statement. I have always been impressed with the quality of this management and looking to accumulate more. Perhaps we will see that long awaited re-rating with the improved outlook in the economy. A bit out of date with things but I think they used to pay a dividend. | loverat
10/9/2009 08:20 | Excellent - a profits above expectations announcement. Just bagged another 20k. | jeff h
27/8/2009 16:18 | At long last we may be starting to see a rerating - I have tried to top up a few more but can't even buy 10k online today. | callumross
25/8/2009 17:47 | Wait for Bob Morton to buy IMO. His buys are usually incredibly well timed and provide you with a large saftey element. What is the net debt here? | essentialinvestor
25/8/2009 14:34 | Pleasing rise this pm. | iroll
25/8/2009 14:24 | I been buying here lately. Housing & Autos seem to have been on the up recently. The fall in sterling should also help exports compared to last year. Read a few articles about their new cube radio gizmo recently...could be a big Xmas winner....whichever side you place the cube on gives a different radio station. Any views? | jeff h
05/8/2009 13:10 | definitely a recovery gathering pace in these at long last - way undervalued IMHO given their dominant market position. | callumross
18/5/2009 21:39 | £21m of goodwill... same as the last three reporting periods, no write downs.... interesting accounting. Might one ask what goodwill ? Incredible its held its value so well, like leaving its value in the spreadsheet year on year... | rally
15/5/2009 08:18 | ...from The Times:- "Armour Group, a distributor of hi-fi products whose customers include Comet, lost 1p at 8¾p after unveiling a fall in first-half profits in line with expectations. However, new deals with retailers this summer mean that the company expects to more than double its high-margin sales of television stands in the year to August 2010." | jeff h
06/5/2009 13:56 | well of course the results are going to be well down on a like for like basis with last year. That goes without saying. However, if they can show that they are on target to meet brokers forecasts of £1.6m for the year (EPS of 1.9p), then there should be a recovery in the share price as a P/E of 5 for a company at the bottom of the cycle would be way too low. Especially one that is so dominant in it's sector. In fact I would guess that the results will be reporting on the worst 6 months and that consumer spending and sentiment may now be bottoming out. So if they can remain profitable in those dire months when everything was so gloomy, then that is pretty creditable. And as long as interest is fairly well covered. | callumross
06/5/2009 10:35 | Will keep an eye out. I always thought this wasn't a badly run company and if I remember correctly they paid a dividend. Will give this the once over when I get a chance. | loverat
06/5/2009 10:23 | results will be out next week - hopefully spark a recovery in this one. | callumross
09/4/2009 16:11 | Why the big jump in net debt with the last set of results?. | joshalexander
09/4/2009 16:09 | looks like the recovery is just beginning. Interims out mid May this year. | callumross
27/3/2009 12:40 | agree vikcom - just topped up another 30k | callumross
16/3/2009 12:56 | This looks like a possible recovery pay. Any thoughts? | vikcom

08/2/2009 13:38 | I think I am going to take another look at AMR when I have some time. I have always thought this to be a well run company in a volatile sector. Bombed out like the rest of the small caps. Question is, assuming it does recover when will it happen? | loverat
