15/4/2008 12:15 | I wouldn't be surprised to see Bob Morton's Southwind up its stake | jeff h
15/4/2008 12:01 | That explains why the price shot up! ;-) | shr2
15/4/2008 11:42 | New forecast published by Peel hunt yesterday - more or less the same as previously but with a "buy" recommendation attached 2007/08 2008/09 KBC Peel Hunt Ltd 14-04-08 BUY 4.84 5.07 0.65 5.34 5.41 0.70 | callumross
14/4/2008 11:15 | Yes, solid performance despite slow sales in some areas of automative business but that only accounts for 20% of group sales now. Bang on target for achieving the forecast 5.5p EPS this year - a P/E of 6!! Crazy. But then a lot of other undervalued small caps in these battered markets. Content to hold for a change in sentiment when there should be a sharp rerating to a more sensible 55p-60p. | callumross
14/4/2008 10:08 | Callumross, You have your answer now. I thought the interims were pretty good. | shr2
10/4/2008 14:59 | Callumross, I'd like to see a recovery, but the positive trading update at the beginning of March (repeate below) didn't shift the shareprice so I'm not especially hopeful. There doesn't seem to be much wrong with the company, and its chugging along nicely. The drop in price looks overdone, but where are the buyers? ----- Armour is pleased to announce that it has continued to make good progress in the first half of this financial year with year-on-year growth in both sales and operating profits. The results for the six months ended 29 February 2008, which will be announced on Monday 14 April 2008, are expected to be comfortably in line with market forecasts. | shr2
09/4/2008 12:46 | ...just had 25k...wonder who BD holding the stake for? | jeff h
09/4/2008 11:38 | Interim results next Monday - anyone expecting them to trigger a recovery in the price of this one - seems awful cheap on a prospective P/E of just over 6? | callumross
04/4/2008 19:34 | Itt means that they've allocated the RNS to the wrong company | call-logger
04/4/2008 18:54 | Anyone know what the 4/4/2008 Rule 8.3 announcement means? | tompion
04/3/2008 14:41 | That's an in-line PE of 7 falling to a fwd PE of around 6 or just over. Divi paying too :-) CR | cockneyrebel

04/3/2008 14:37 | Helium Special Situations Fund A long-bias equity fund with a dedicated focus on listed (mainly within the AIM segment of the London Stock Exchange) and pre-IPO small and mid cap companies in the UK. It follows an event-driven, long-term buy-and-hold approach and targets superior returns based on a concentrated portfolio of high-conviction core holdings. | iroll
04/3/2008 12:28 | On a similar "Bob Morton" vein, CR, what do you think of CCS where Southwind has just taken an 11% stake and underwritten their recent rights issue? Was thinking that it may be a classic recovery story but I have not yet taken an initial position. | callumross
04/3/2008 12:14 | "The Company was notified on 3 March 2008 that after recent purchases, Helium Special Situations Fund holds a notifiable interest in the ordinary share capital of the Company amounting to 2,500,000 ordinary shares representing 3.65% of the issued share capital of the Company." Looks like this Helium Special Situations have been actively buying, CR. Do you know who this Helium are? They are a new name to me? PS - reassuring trading update issued earlier today too. | callumross

25/2/2008 19:29 | Another uncannily well timed spot by you Mr Rebel. They got a mention in the FT on 9 Feb: "Armour Group closed 0.8 per cent lower at 32½p but could bounce when trading resumes next week. Late yesterday, a large overhang of stock was cleared and traders think the the consumer electronics company that focuses on car stereos could be seen as a takeover target by a rival." They also got a mention in The Scotsman of all places on 12 Feb as one to watch:- | typo56
25/2/2008 18:36 | I see someone has bought half a million today. Any thoughts? I remember a while back there being a large buy in these just before positive news. The trade is 6 weeks before the results so a director buy perhaps? CR | cockneyrebel
25/2/2008 16:32 | do I detect a gradual return of investor interest? | callumross
08/2/2008 15:59 | see BT pension scheme has sold out at 32p but who is the buyer of the 3% stake - southwind again? | callumross
12/12/2007 07:48 | We should see AMR rise now. Historically, the share price takes off properly once the results/TS have been digested. | loverat
11/12/2007 08:18 | KBC has eps of 4.87p for 08 Eddison has eps of 4.87p for 08 and 5.32p for 09 so its on rediculous forward p/e of around 8. | cyberpost |
