It's a pity the story isn't as instantaneous as we think it should be. I get the feeling this is going to be massive quite soon but sometimes get a bit impatient when the market drags its feet. I really love the fact we get 23% of Salinbas with free carry on future development. What an amazing deal!

Settling in for the next move up. As I've said many times, and admittedly many times prematurely, this is what we've all been waiting almost two decades for (I'm personally in about 15 years since educating myself about economics, and how this could be THE only outcome).

Now, at $2,000+ gold, the 'wall of worry' is beginning to crumble, the belief among the masses is growing that this time it can't be papered over,...this time it can't be re-inflated. Enough is enough. Economies being run by central banks, negative real interest rates, and negative nominal rates! Truly The twilight zone. Huge moral hazard and false, manipulated economies are the rule, not the exception. The chickens are coming home to roost en-masse at the tail end of the most misguided, misplaced and asinine economic experiment in recorded history.

Again, I've said it far too many times prematurely,.. but this is merely the beginning. Once your taxi driver is asking you which gold shares you own, it'll be time to position yourself to sell your golden geese, no matter much you love them. It'll be a bittersweet day when it comes...

Looks like some people have (mistakenly) seen the announcement as a director sell and chosen to follow suit? Not that it matters. Important news shouldn't be too far away.

He has increased holing by 955k and 60k cash I assume he needed cash for something. He could have maintained same shareholding and had £120k but chose to buy additional 955k shares at 5.56p so point I'd make is that he is confident to buy at 5.56p.

MDV subsequently has 605k shares more and his wife has bought shares also, and cash left over!

The best reply I can give is "Why did Michael do it?".

Personally, I have made huge gains in the past only to see them devastated by unexpected events, so prudence is now in my blood.

Why would they want to cash in a portion? Seems to me that of all people they are the ones who would know the future potential, why cash in when things are unfolding?
It would be about as sensible as the top slicing adivce

I suspect that there are others who might want to cash in a "portion" of their options over the next week or three, it would only be prudent to do so. The downward pressure on the share price this may create could however be counter balanced by impending exploration/drilling results.

Regarding the JV - end of the month is the plan:"This transaction will crystallise significant value for the Company and substantially de-risks the deliverability of the Salinbas Project, at an important time in its development. Accordingly, we fully expect shareholders to support the transaction, definitive agreements for which are expected to be concluded by the end of August 2020."

I think if they knew the deal would t be in 60 days they would have to tell us. I don't think it indicates anything apart from Michael thinking it's worth buying back the shares at 5.5p ratchet than keeping the cash in his bank.

The point is when do you become aware of a price sensitive announcement? There may be nothing currently but who knows what is around the corner?

I think MDV may be covered under this AIM rule, but I'm not a legal person so may misunderstood.

(c) However, for the purposes of rule 21, the following
are not included:
(i) undertakings or elections to take up
entitlements under a rights issue or other preemptive
offer (including an offer of shares in
lieu of a cash dividend);
(ii) the take up of entitlements under a rights issue
or other pre-emptive offer (including an offer of
shares in lieu of a cash dividend);

I hope I have got this one wrong, but as directors cannot deal in a 60 day closed period before a price sensitive announcement does this mean that there will not be an RNS re. the JV in the next two months?

I think our directors have earned their bonus shares with the the extra value they have added to this company.
