Gold price is plumb at 1740-50 resistance - which way will the yanks take it?

I'm sure some will disagree but for me now extension news on the 1st july is the worst option for the share price - I think the share price needs resolution now to advance - yea or nay , either one though preferably yea!

strong performance with spot into start of new week, but related (etfs and miners) rather lack lustre.

presumably some lag between spot, etfs and miners - with miners last?

still have much to learn in this pm space.

let's hope all that is icing on the cake, with the real action to come with the growth in aau. rather nervous though with no news on the mou, leaving it to the last, maybe another extension?

I believe they finished final hole last week, also anyone know if Zak and the boys are taking the rig to Salinbas to drill Ardala?

They are accruing them certainly as to when they receive them I can't remember exactly but I seem to recall it may be annually but in process of being review because obviously there needs to be nothing in JV by way of cash if deal goes through. If deal doesn't got through I will certainly be asking the question as to more regular distributions .

thanksamillion: what a greatread- thanks. Very perceptive- I reach 60 in November and recognise so many truths in your post!
Never given retirement much thought until forced to stop work 3 months ago. Now seriously giving it thought. As you say there is an almost childish joy in giving BT and Vodafone the big e after years of not having time to monitor just how expensive they’d become! Apple to Spotify music also a poundsaver for the family! Luckily I have a very good final salary pension so if AAU news is good over the next few months and showing 6-7p by November, then your advice seems increasingly tempting!

interestingly shows as a sell because nex spread 3.70 - 4.20.

(aim spread much tighter at 3.90 - 4.10).

It's often completely random whether something goes through Nex or the LSE. I've sometimes bought the same stock in 2 tranches and they've gone through different exchanges.
What I will say is that Nex has been acquired by Aquis, and they are ambitious to improve liquidity, so hopefully in the months and years to come we'll see better spreads and availability of stock (not that its too bad on AAU)
