18/10/2019 08:16 | Never thought we would get 3 RNS in a week, none of which contain production figures when they are (historically) due! Surprised. Next week could be interesting as by then we will know if this cease fire looks likely to hold. If it does I wouldn't be surprised to be back to the 2.20s - if the buyers can be found. I'm sure most of us have held on, and if you lot are anything like me you don't have a lot more to invest here. Will just have to hope for a change in sentiment by Soul!! | ![]() jaynesdad
18/10/2019 07:57 | Nope but wonder if those that sold at low 2p due to Turkey will be taking opportunity to buy back in at lower price??? We will see | ![]() bigglesbingham
18/10/2019 07:51 | No results then....? | ![]() shortarm
17/10/2019 19:21 | Trump (twitter) Great news out of Turkey. News Conference shortly with @VP and @SecPompeo. Thank you to @RTErdogan. Millions of lives will be saved! | ![]() vanunu
17/10/2019 19:08 | Good news indeed re a ceasefire. Let’s hope it leads to a calming of tensions in the region. Turkey to suspend Syria offensive 'to allow Kurdish withdrawal' | ![]() alwaysevolving
17/10/2019 19:01 | swallows - that development ties in nicely with the quarterlies expected tomorrow. 2p+ by the weekend? | ![]() charles clore
17/10/2019 18:49 | Turkey to suspend Syria offensive says USA. Good news. Peace possible ? | ![]() swallowsflysouth
17/10/2019 17:48 | Charles, LOL, well I guess that puts it in perspective! We can but hope. | ![]() alwaysevolving
17/10/2019 17:41 | always - exactly my words a year ago lol | ![]() charles clore
17/10/2019 17:35 | Nice to see it tick back up towards 2p today and finish on a high. Hopefully it won’t be long before we can put 2p in the rear view mirror for good? | ![]() alwaysevolving
17/10/2019 16:17 | Get that Soul . And yes let's keep this board to AAU albeit politics have obviously influenced price recently. Quarterlies tomorrow I feel recent rnss have been planned to be consecutive days to get the price to rise steadily rather than everything in one rns resulting in a spike and fall back. If this is the case it shows they have shareholders in mind and are becoming more savvy we will see. | ![]() bigglesbingham
17/10/2019 14:36 | soul - fair enough and hope to see you back invested here again soon. | ![]() charles clore
17/10/2019 14:08 | I am not going to get in to who is right or wrong on this catsick. Everyone invests, or not, for their own reasons and for the reasons I have said I will not be investing back in Ariana while ever this conflict rages. That doesn't make me right or anyone invested in Ariana wrong, we all make our own decisions. | ![]() soulsauce
17/10/2019 14:05 | Charles I am afraid sitting on the doorstep of Turkey, Iraq and Syria is what they have always done. If he thinks that he is going to make Turkey safer by making this safe zone I think he is mistaken. But we all know the safe zone is just a ruse. | ![]() soulsauce
17/10/2019 14:02 | Soul , I am heavily invested in Russian and to a lesser degree british stocks, as far as my conscience goes I feel the British side of things is the less ethical side given the despicable behavior over the last 20 years in the middle east ... Turkey I think are stuck in a tough place an have been treated poorly at best by the EU. | catsick
17/10/2019 13:38 | soul - the part where your principles are solid. I guess it comes down to your beliefs around the fact that Turkey seems to be oppressing the Kurds. But you have to bear in mind that they have historically been the biggest purveyors of terrorism towards Turkey and I guess Erdogan wants to make sure they are not sitting on his doorstep. The Kurdish women and children are sadly probably innocent, of course. | ![]() charles clore
17/10/2019 13:34 | I think we all know the answer to that bigglesbingham and it ain't the predominantly good people of Turkey. | ![]() soulsauce
17/10/2019 13:19 | Which part Charles? | ![]() soulsauce
17/10/2019 13:17 | soul - perhaps you had better explain that to me as it might be something I've missed! | ![]() charles clore
17/10/2019 11:13 | Speaking for myself bigglesbingham. It was me saying I don't want to be part of anything that contributes to the Turkish economy while this conflict continues and not at all to do with that Ariana might be affected by it. With the current price it is more than an excellent opportunity to pick those back up I sold at 2.15p but my principals on this subject are solid. | ![]() soulsauce
17/10/2019 11:07 | But by implication and actions comment did exactly that. People stated they hadn't bought AAU because of situation and people sold . This is effective saying they thought AAU would be effected isn't it? | ![]() bigglesbingham
17/10/2019 10:47 | If these buys today had been sells the mms would have knocked 1.5m off market cap! Four buys not a jitter , they frustrate me sometimes. Mind you this suppressed price does offer opportunities | ![]() bigglesbingham
17/10/2019 09:41 | Tem - I am already starting to feel excited about that debt clearance next spring and the multitude of possibilities it will offer. I think it will become infectious as the time draws nearer. Now is the time to start adding imho. | ![]() charles clore |
