01/10/2019 17:55 | Ash is a star. Great to have him on board. AAU won't be able to get away with much now! | plasybryn
01/10/2019 17:52 | Thanks Ash great work. I think quite a few of us have been blind sided by that one. Indeed mcmather. | soulsauce
01/10/2019 17:39 | Which raises more concerns around the previous raisings (beaufort) that mickey oversaw and then the bonus that the management awarded themselves.... Cheers for the info Ash. | mcmather
01/10/2019 17:25 | Hi Soul, hands up, my question re the outstanding borrowings - simply a case of comparing the amounts repayable after more than one year with the balance of the original construction loan due to be repaid by April 2020, which identified further borrowings of close to £7m, which we now know are working capital loans to be repaid 2020-21. By my reckoning these have been building up at a rate of about £2m per annum over the last few years. Cheers, Ash | m20ash
01/10/2019 17:07 | You know Charles you are right. | soulsauce
01/10/2019 17:02 | soul - funny but I have almost come to expect that from AAU. | charles clore
01/10/2019 16:59 | Yep Plasybryn not what we were hoping for at all when conference call was mentioned. Bit of an own goal really. | soulsauce
01/10/2019 16:53 | Two actually, the one at 2.1754 looks like a sell to me. | thanksamillion
01/10/2019 16:39 | If we judge the success or otherwise of this afternoon by market reaction, it stimulated one 200,000 sell! Great. | plasybryn
01/10/2019 15:27 | No bigglesbingham wasn't shooting the messenger lol. Glad you brought it to our attention. | soulsauce
01/10/2019 15:26 | The only 'pratts' biggles are those who think that a share price can be manipulated by asking questions about a company. SP's are not driven by economics. They are driven by sentiment. Traders don't buy or sell depending on 'brokers' or future mines in cyprus. They tend to buy when a share price is going up.....and sell when it's going down. It's about fear and greed and money ... it's not about falling in love or being proved right. | 2tyke
01/10/2019 15:23 | Plasybryn yes I hope they can get Kizilcukur away soon as and bring in a nice bit of revenue. We're still getting ticked down so keep ticking you up. JD hand on heart I am not sure many of us did. Anyone want to own up to that savvy question? | soulsauce
01/10/2019 15:22 | Didn't say I agreed soul! Don't shoot messenger | bigglesbingham
01/10/2019 15:02 | Indeed Soul. That's a shocker. Think it was £7-8m, also it was in JV. So say £3.5m of debt in AAU I didn't know about (to be fair probably an oversight of mine, and yours apparently!). Is quite a bit off the net asset value for £23m market cap company. | jaynesdad
01/10/2019 14:57 | Soulsauce: great reply. As you say memories are short!!! We told Kerim etc. repeatedly what a shower Beaufort were, but they took no notice, yet they must have known. They kept them because they knew they could facilitate raises through their rather dubious methods which eventually came to bite them. The sale of Kizilcukur into the J.V. could be a bridge whilst we wait for Tavsan to come on stream. | plasybryn
01/10/2019 14:50 | Lol Charles. Now what's all this about a banking facility? | soulsauce
01/10/2019 14:47 | 30 September 2019: "Re-iterate Buy recommendation with target price of 3.18p..... Our approach to evaluating Ariana has recently been changed to use the same methodology as that applied to our senior gold equity valuations. The rationale for this change is to reflect, what we believe, is the final evolution in the Ariana investment case, from an exploration and development company to one that is also profitable and cash generative and is therefore an acknowledgement of this evolution" | mcmather
01/10/2019 14:46 | soul - you need to cut down on that coffee lol! | charles clore
01/10/2019 14:41 | Excellent post Plasybryn 17164. Bigglesbingham I nearly choked on my coffee reading that. A company that stuck with Beaufort for so long with all the problems that brought with it for shareholders, now doesn't rate other brokers as high as PG even though they are about as much use as a chocolate teapot to us 🙄 Ariana with a conscience on brokers, who'd a thought it 😀 | soulsauce
01/10/2019 14:39 | I was encouraged however that we should get a Red Rabbit Resource update this quarter and a new Reserve early in 2020. Drill results are coming in now and will be released pit by pit according to Kerim. | plasybryn
01/10/2019 14:34 | We aren't talking about appointing a secondary Broker, which I agree could raise concerns. No, just getting one of the many that do this sort of analysis to do a Note. The advantage is that they are very likely to be less conservative and like share price Angel won't let the new legislation prevent them distributing it to all interested parties, other than as with P.G. paying clients only. So it would get a much bigger circulation. It could be a one off. No ongoing contractual relationship. As to the Gantt chart, most Mining Co's produce one. They all suffer from the problems of some issues on timing being outside their control - (Permits etc.) Just because this is the case, which I'm sure we all understand, it is pathetic to say you won't provide one. It is a very valuable slide which helps current and new investors at a glance to see the breadth of the projects and the accretive timings. | plasybryn
01/10/2019 14:25 | It was far from slick and the questions were 'perfected' before being asked but overall thought it was a useful exercise. Next news of interest for me will be the drilling results for Arzu South, North and Derya and by how much they will increase the life of mine / what the grades are. | mcmather
01/10/2019 14:20 | When I asked about salinbas she had to take it down shorthand and I had to spell salinbas twice. Format should be improved for next time . Mine you if you open the q & a directly it could create massive problems if a Pratt gets to ask question with a view to trying to cause damage to the share price for personal gain. Think of this board now for example there's one or two on filter. | bigglesbingham
01/10/2019 14:15 | They have to get permits for tarsvan which can take ages as it did for kiziltepe that's why he was so chuffed at getting licenses for salinbas. | bigglesbingham
01/10/2019 14:13 | Kerim told me that was his view too regarding spooking market with worries of placing | bigglesbingham |
