ok - a short story as you are all so kind
i was with a friend who was an afrikan manager for the whole continent for a major eu well known company.
i asked about zimbabwe and mining. he told me a story about ghana. most rivers in ghana are left and right looking like a moon. can be seen on google maps he said. consequence of locals digging for gold. wherever you dig - there is some gold.
then chinese came and used lots of acid - which went into the river. and most of the people drink the water from the rivers. now there is a huge number od defected new borns.
he assumes similar in zimbabwe - and now i understood what i read - about zimbabwe artisan mining being the centre of the mining reforms. |
The DFS is expected to be completed in 18 to 24 months. If positive, the project will be greenlit, with an anticipated two-year build time based on their experience in Turkey. No it was a couple of things.
1) I believed what you said (you gain no profit from making up trades) it was just that if you’ve not been buying since why should other people be?
I see there’s a subsequent comment outlining your other buys since. All fair enough. And hey we all buy (and indeed make profit from dog rough shares occasionally - I too held HUM briefly and indeed held Harry Adams previous attempt at mining, EMED, a long time ago too)
2) I was amused by your switch away from trying to correct the company on their figures of costs, or more precisely people rude enough to listen and quote the company if it didn’t match your older figures, to your trades and a sort of “it doesn’t matter as I made money anyway” kind of response. |

If the smiley face is a sign of disbelief I emailed Biggles, Plasbryn etc at the time. They were surprised the volume did not affect the shareprice!Obviously I have since bought them all back ! And a loaf more :-D |
