Rennicks, you and a few others here have kept the faith and, unlike some,n?ever complained. I know it has been a real test for holders, but we are now beginning to see the shape of things to come. I like the fact we are on the ground floor of a new era with gold and silver in a bull market and everything to play for. Kerim is not only a cracking geologist, its apparent he's a brilliant strategist too.

ks is imho doing very simplistic job ... following the trend of errected sea deposits full of minerals where tectonic border of elevated sea bed afrikan plate lifted it going under europe. almost a straight line

looking for less developed provinces, finding there geo enthusiasts of similar culture and religion if possible and of we go

reading a book. cyprus ore body used to have up to 20 pc copper. huge exports. the energy needed to melt by wood took 16 x cutting the island forrest



after reading few books on geology .. it is not as complicated as it sounds. good nose and feeling coupled with modern tech

JAF, if Salinbas was next I might think - oh, they might spend profits on building Salinbas in a couple of years. BUT: they only have to get Dokwe producing, Kerim would have to magic up loads of drill teams and equipment and land to be able to spend the 140 to 150 million dollars a year that Dokwe will throw off in profit!They have got two mines up and running already! Most explorers achieve ZERO mines!

ASX-PNT trading halt pending announcement 8th Oct. This will be the fun part when AAU are listed on ASX, how will shares on AIM react to drilling results etc (pending announcements) Personally I can't wait till they are listed down under, 60% of my PM positions are on the ASX, and doing better than those I have on AIM, will be first dual listed one I'm invested in though. Exciting times ahead and I could say about time too, but they have played a blinder with timing and being able to even get this done, appreciate I'm in the minority with this view. But let's look again in a year, as they say, time will tell. Aimho. Happy Friday.

Ariana Resources: Dokwe on a clear pathway to production The Dokwe gold project in Zimbabwe is shaping up to be a considerable mine by Zimbabwean standards. DR KERIM SENER, MD and founder of Ariana Resources, tells ARTHUR TASSELL that there is a clear pathway for the project to be developed into a 75 000 to 100 000 ounces a year, open-pit operation with a mine life of between 10 and 15 years. He says the company will launch a full feasibility study on the project within the coming months.Dokwe entered the Ariana Resources (Ariana) stable earlier this year after the company, whose shares are quoted on London's AIM, concluded an all-share merger with Rockover Holdings (Rockover), the junior explorer responsible for discovering the deposit in 2002.Ariana, founded over 20 years ago, has focused since its inception on Türkiye (Turkey) and currently produces up to 28 000 ounces per annum (28 kozpa) of gold from its Turkish operations (of which it owns 23.5%), which are on the point of being expanded with a second mine under construction."It might seem strange that we have chosen to diversify geographically into Zimbabwe given that it is a long way from Türkiye but there is a story behind this move," says Sener, who is an exploration geologist with 25 years of experience."I started my career in Zimbabwe working for Independence Gold, a Lonmin subsidiary, and I worked at both the How and Shamva gold mines. So, in a sense, the deal with Rockover actually sees me coming full circle."

Ariana Resources (AAU) has announced its results for the first half of 2024, marking “the emergence of Ariana v2.0, representing a marked upgrade… stand to do exceptionally well in the coming months and years as gold continues to strengthen”. That is with shares in the company still currently at a relatively depressed just over 2p.

My worry all along has been the company making $x million one year and Kerim then saying he has a new venture that will cost $10x million so sorry shareholders you will have to wait a bit longer.

Kerim is good, will get results but is also ambitious for the company. We all know his attitude to 'fast buck' shareholders.

Both might be true. Ariana might do exceptionally well but that does not guarantee that there will be a good return for investors.

Sener says Ariana stands “to do exceptionally well” and the numbers from Dokwe released since acquisition do seem to back this up.

On a positive, this is a rare event for Ariana - to post an RNS that does not wipe 5% or more off the share price. For that, I'm delighted.

However, sorry to bang on but there are things they can still do around the dual listing, placing and mine opening news to steady the horses. We live in hope.

Ps a slight worry, Tom mentioned £500-£1m for the dual listing costs and Tavsan royalties are a while away and at the whim of Zenit. I would say cash is a bit squeakier than it looks given the burn.

Ariana – Interims As Ariana Mk II Begins To Emerge

AIM-listed Ariana Resources (AAU) released its interims to June 30 2024 this morning. I do wish it would, along with other companies I have a small stake in, not leave it to the wire (being deadline day today) although in fairness, there’s a lot going on. MD Kerim Sener’ statement set an ebullient tone, given the progress made in procuring the Dokwe project in Zimbabwe essentially for a song.

According to the Zeus note today production from Tavsan is circa 30 000 oz next year plus some from Kiziltepe (650 cost per oz).Should be a lot of cash available!. And before someone jumps down my throat we only get 25% and I have not done any calculations for you :-)
