If - when - we get to 3 then I shall sell enough to go private for my second knee replacement. Totally fed up with waiting for the NHS.Quite happy to keep my 7yr old Tiguan for now.

Gervais Williams, head of equities at Premier Miton Investors, a long-term proponent of smaller listed companies, said it was not surprising that some businesses were leaving Aim. "The UK is cheap, but small caps are disgustingly, absurdly cheap," he said. "A lot of companies feel that they're not getting value for all of the extra cost and hassle of meeting the reporting requirements of being on Aim."Nevertheless, he reckons a broad rally in UK-listed shares is coming, with the FTSE 100 index flirting with a record high. This, he believes, will result in a "positive virtuous spiral" that will boost smaller listed companies. "I'm more bullish now than I've been for 30 years."

I thought Land Rovers have a terrible reputation for reliability. Estate cars are more stable, handle better and a lot more aerodynamic. None of the negative Chelsea Tractor image either, but each to their own.

My Nephew has the A6 and a house near Biarritz. Bigger than A4. Another very practical car. My son in law has the S4 which is even quicker and sounds great. The RS version is a beast.

Paul, we have two A6 allroads - love them, swear by them but they’ve discontinued them in the UK as they say they weren’t selling enough of them. Still some ex-demonstrators and low mileage ones around on the Audi site.

Shortarm, Porsche looks good but too small boot for 3 large Labradors and not practical for towing a 1600 kg caraven on 600 mile round trips. That's why I need petrol or diesel.

The Audi A6 looks interesting Plas.

I like my Audi A4 Quattro Allroad. Estate. Petrol. 4x4. Slightly higher road setting. Good for visiting my daughter in Morzine (French Alps) in winter time. Before this had always had Mercedes since late 80's. Good luck finding what you want.

New Taycan Cross Turismo has more range and charges even faster? They are actually really nice to drive, and Porsche sound actually makes a difference.

I’m looking for a large, good quality estate. Possibly plug in hybrid, Volvo V90 would have been on the list if it was still made. Mercedes C class or BMW 5 on the list. Not electric as it would not be practical.

Plasbryn. I believe it is not as you suggest a scam. Time tells the truth in everything. Gla.

Or until more realise that over the life of a car electric is less green and a whole lot less convenient.

What is on your shopping list. Ice, Hybrid or Electric? I was pleased to see Aston Martin has said we will continue to make only petrol engined cars until someone stops us. Thats the attitude. Sorry if that offends some of you believers in the Co2 scam.
