I think sentiment is the reason JAF, not fundamentals.
Th malaise has been going on so long that we have reached a point at which people have stopped averaging down because they are fed up of a bigger bargain appearing the following week. So if all this good news materialises and PoG holds up the sentiment will change. But I doubt that will happen quickly, its a bit like an oil tanker manoeuvring!

Because the general public aren't aware it is in the public domain (only us lot) as it isn't marketed very well

So as all this good news to come is in the public domain, why are people not rushing in now to buy Ariana before the inevitable rise ?

Also Dockwe DD, Hertica drilling and Newmont involvement (this is big!)

Agreed, also expecting news as the production estimates are bordering on the overdue.

I suspect there is too much work to be done preparing assessments as they will be the basis of official JORC report etc. and they need to make sure it is right.

End of next week is my guess.

If they are suggesting that on 3-4 weeks and may not be any AAU shares left then out of the 11m they should have sold around 8m based on 1month left and announcement 3 months ago. Really good news because we know there isn't going to be a big spate of selling when SVE holders get their money. Wonder if they were guided to sell AAU rather than GG because directors held more of GG and they didn't want to see that share hit (although it has been). Interesting conspiracy stuff.

That is why we need to get the story out to new investors Charles. Not all of us can keep topping up here.

Will be interesting to what happens to share price when we get news that coincides with, or after Starvest administrators have cashed out.

I recall it increased up to receipt of proceeds then sentiment took over. I like current strategy as long as time on your hands

Oh the days when you could phone Kerim on his mobile! I spoke to him many years ago regarding TW being less than complimentary about AAU on his old T1ps website (he declared they had nothing of interest). I used to speak to a fair few bod people at most of the companies I invested in. But I no longer seem to bother, trying to read between the lines often proved interesting.

But it did rerate after the transaction. Went to 6p before the cash was depleted and the promised acceleration failed.

Given that "The latest drilling results from Tavsan are some of the most exciting we have ever released" I was surprised Kerim didn't do any post RNS interviews. My guess is that we have more substantive news imminent (this week/tomorrow!) and then we'll get the follow up. That's my optimistic view anyway!

And become a one jurisdiction pony . Having cash on the balance sheet doesn't create a rerate if it did the after the JV when price was falling there would have been a rerate. I agree YJ do nothing apart from act as a buffer. A dividend policy is around the corner when tarsvan is showing production consistency. Think I prefer current strategy albeit it will take longer but I believe will bear fruit. Hence Ive been adding consistently over last few years.

So that's who have been offloading then!! The shareholders could have chosen to keep them but administrators decided to sell AAU hmmmmm

YJ are very expensive gatekeepers, because they don't do any marketing / PR (other than annoy shareholders seeking access to mgmt)

All positive publicity though for AAU. More than can be said for Yellow Jersey. But i agree, Mr Marmite. Made some howlers in his tume.
