Wish you all the best but I can't see me giving another 3yrs to this on top of the circa 17 I have already been here.

In fact if you have a reasonable time horizon - 3 years plus - buying tomorrow when some weak holders will probably bail out is the perfectly sensible thing to do.

Just listened to the bearcast - you missed one thing out there pharm - TW did say he would maybe buy more if there was any discernible dip in the share price tomorrow.

I will be adding if I can get a sizeable chunk around the 2.75p level.

TW has known Kerim for approx 20 years and believes he is an honest man. Doesn’t like 3.59pm RNS’S on a Friday afternoon and believes KS will get a kicking on the forums on Monday and a pullback on the share price He personally will not be selling. Believes unless gold takes off, this share will tread water for 6 months, but ultimately believes Kerim’s confidence that this is only a delay to Tavsan build and not a deep underwater hole. Still holds great faith that over a 4-5 year span this share will come good. Believes recent dividend was a big strategic error but gave lots of evidence why current share price is already low - the reasons given all much the same as those on this post board recently and repeatedly.

dixi - there was a comment from HotStockRockets - which is sort of affiliated.

Obviously can't post it here as its a paid-for service. They see it as a temporary setback and because HSR is sometimes a shorter term tip they say sell, but they are not selling themselves.

TW may comment tomorrow for any subscribers.

Even if there is a small pullback in the morning, my reckoning is there will be plenty of buying to keep the price steady or even turn blue over the day.

I shall look to add if it dips below 2.75 offer.

I was very encouraged today to discover that Hot Maden has its EIA and is fully permitted. Production is targeted for Q4 2024. So hopefully that augers well for us in the Salinbas/Hot Gold Corridor.

Not a great look. Now do it for gold price in Pounds Sterling over the same period. Fiat currencies only go one way over time, while gold just does its thing and preserves wealth. The Central Banks know this but nations would rather their populations did not.

wtf of the real substance or significance /high cash flow impact/ did you do in the last few years but double the kiz capacity is my only Q for the session

I agree konil - the Q&A will either reassure investors or open up a can of worms.

I tend to think they agreed to the Q&A because they already were aware of this problem, mind that said I still think they will have a reasonable explanation for it all as there is now no way out of the Q&A session and everything will be out in the open.

I'm not really expecting a massive dive in the share price on Monday, and certainly think there will be a lot of buying interest anyway at the lower levels. It has to be remembered that it's the mcap that is important and currently it's only double the cash we hold so even with this (minor) set back AAU are still cheap on a long term fundamental basis imho.

A rising gold/silver/copper price will also help us going forward.

soul, 16461 and 16468, absolutely agree, they need to come clean.

i had settled for poor comms, and resigned myself to put in bottom drawer for the long term, but that was on the basis that mining ops do take time and corporate deals do go fubar...

... but having been taken for a ride by a number of managements in the past i really do hope this lot are different.

if not, and they have been trying to hide stuff, then i have misjudged them and have been duped yet again!

no matter how good the assets are, a sneaky mangement is much worse. jury is still out.

let's see how they handle the q&a and the how openly they handle the inevitable questions on tavsan.

It would be interesting to know what the other 'operations" are that have overcome these 'hurdles' and how long it took so we can get a handle on how long into 24 we may have to wait to get into production.
The recent share price has been a clue to something not being right. I wonder how 'recently' they became aware?

It might be that digging a big hole is a problem too.

The original plan was to treat Tavsan as a semi-autonomous satellite operation to the Kiziltepe Mine. The AR & A in 2016 said, "It is possible to adopt a cost-effective approach to mining operations at Tavsan, sharing much of the management and operational infrastructure at Kiziltepe. The expectation is that Tavsan would be developed as a heap-leach operation, which would share the carbon elution and regeneration, electro-winning and gold room infrastructure at the Kiziltepe operation. Whilst this would require limited additional capital expenditure at Kiziltepe, this would likely be less than developing such facilities independently at Tavsan"

If there is a problem constructing mine buildings and a processing plant at Tavsan for whatever reason, then I wonder if this is still a viable Plan B, as the two sites are just 40 miles apart.

No indication in the RNS as to who put forward the motion to temporarily suspend construction. Their identity is potentially quite significant - is a time-wasting busybody or someone with more influence?

ESG:-Thecintroduction of wide-reaching and robust ESG-focused regulations, codes and principles that mining companies are now obliged and expected to observe, requiring enhanced reporting, the introduction of best practice and procedures and, increasingly, the need to demonstrate that ESG considerations are factored into strategic decision-making. At the same time, institutional and other large investors are taking a greater interest in a company's ESG performance and taking this into account in their investment decisions, in some cases actively excluding from their investment portfolios mining and other extractive companies that do not live up to ESG expectations.

I think you are living in a dream world not a different world.
You may well be right but this is now the 2nd of the two nearest term projects to slip significantly, one may be fatally so.
The timing of that rns is very questionable, like they didn't know about it to get a 7am rns out, hmmm.
Smacks of trying to bury bad news imo.

Some reactions are getting quite absurd. We are down on the day just 3.45% - gold was up $20 last night, the news wasn't positive I agree, but nor was it entirely negative - we do have other producting assets too - and cash is over 50% of the current mcap.

I suggest that Monday, at these bombed out levels, will bring more buying than selling overall and the share price will edge its way back to the 3p level until we get more substantial news.

You can't run a Co successfully from the other side of the planet in my opinion. Even in todays digital communications. You need to see people talk to them, entertain them, win their trust, see the whites of their eyes. Otherwise it all becomes too loose and surprises emerge. We need an MD in Europe imo.

This latest action taken against this backcloth seems misaligned. Remember my post 2 days agoTwitter today: Mehmet Yilmaz: We aim to increase our country's gold production to 100 tons"Good for Ariana?Got this as a reply: Turkish gold production previously peaked at 42 tonnes in 2020 and was 31.5 tonnes in 2022. It is expected that 50 tonnes per annum is achievable and with further mine development even 100 tonnes per annum is possible.
