Kaos - I think Ozaltin is leaving the exploration and drilling to Ariana aided by their cash injection but I'd like to see a bit of an update on that

Drill News from Kiziltepe, Tavsan and Salinbas before Christmas. Has Kerim over promised here. Surely not possible unless we have additional teams and secure another Rig. If it is true there is going to be a lot of very interesting (accretive) news in a very short period of time. Any thoughts?

I agree SS. This is by far my biggest holding and I'm on record as having invested my divi twice, only to receive one third of it. I've not sold any and am convinced patience will be rewarded. I've always been concerned about the monkey on our back in the form of Erdogan. I presumed that Cyprus success would be a game changer and am more than a little disappointed that nothing has changed. Could still be down to Erdogan. pog now 1857 so GLA

Charles,Having been a senior manager and then a consultant before retiring, I know how difficult and important the role of a CEO is. I therefore cannot fathom why people think it is good for the company to have a part-time CEO when we need him as a full time geologist AND we need a full time CEO as well. But perhaps it is just me.

Always had gold exceeding 1830-40 pencilled in as what was needed to break the downtrend. Is today the day?

Upset me? Far from it jaf. I'd rather see people happy with their investment performance than dissatisfied and constantly denigrating the directors. I think most of us would rather see our broker promoting the stock but perhaps they don't see it as 'appropriate' at this point in time. From my own perspective I would rather let the company's achievements speak for themselves without being pumped by the comments of brokers as this usually leads to a volatile, unstable price. I am confident that a rerating will come over the coming months which will allow me to take some profit. I'm happy with progress over the past 3 years.

That's a hell of a spike in the Gold price ($1845 as I type). I bet 'they' beat it down again pretty quickly though.

Charles,

I'm sorry if I upset you by criticising this company. I have recently halved my holding but I still feel it is a good and profitable company and I intend to stay invested.

However, I also feel that it has badly let down its shareholders over the past couple of years (I'm not going to go over the same points again) and the lack of PR is inexcusable. Until I see some movement on that front, I will continue to hold and criticise.

Renniks,

We have a brilliant geologist who is also a part-time, and to my mind average, CEO. I agree with you that being a chief executive is a very difficult job - I know I could not have done it although I rose to a senior management level.

Their just rewards for taking this from nothing to where it is now, not to mention where it will be. We can take it or leave it, our choice, mines taking it. All about risk and reward, try crypto if you want higher rewards, but the risks are far higher than I’m happy with, certainly with the level of investment I have in here.
Being an MD perhaps I’m biased? But it ain’t an easy job!
