The broker here just isn't producing and because of the respect Kerim has for keiren at Panmure Gordon they won't change when what has to be understood is it's the quality of the footsoldiers at PG that is in question I just don't think they get it. Having said that the board don't want wide boys associated with the company and jf that is at the expense of proper marketing now I don't think it bothers the board too much because they see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'd argue there must be quality brokers out there who can get their fingers out of their ass. But it's the AAU way and tbh I can't expect to agree with all decisions.

I have never believed that a publicly owned company can actually be off the radar. There are people in the City and elsewhere whose sole job is to look for companies such as AAU so it begs the question - what do they see that we do not ?

To me, the company ticks all the right boxes and more. It also has good management but as someone mentioned a few days ago, the only variable not under our control is Turkey itself. But as John Maynard Keynes said, “the markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent.”

Sorry Risa we can't change the title once it's created. Annoying but is what it is. If people can't be bothered to read a few lines down they probably aren't seriously looking anyway?!

bigglesbingham - it defies logic to see how woefully cheap our shares are compared to others.
KS needs to breathe some life into our marketing as we are so far off the radar we might as well be on the dark side of the moon.

Cheers for that Biggles.....certainly see CHF as a big player in future.....but don't want to tie up 2 or 3 k for what might be a 12 month wait.......

Amazing chf increase 50% in a month due to the start of a drilling program. Quite ridiculous really when you compare the news of AAU and their performance. Obviously market cap has something to do with it.

I thought CHF could ha e been the partner rather than Venus as Kerim described Cyprus with the EXACT words that Martin french did few weeks previous. On that basis I bought in at 3.6p . It wasn't to be but it has been a nice earner to date with small market cap. The board are well aware of the company but no aware of anything else.

Morning all......just hawking round various boards this am to keep up with goss.....see CHF are moving into Cyprus in big way....their Troodos licence operation covers 100 square km.....apparently.....Seemingly hiring allsorts of big guns to take project forward....rumours on their board say they will be looking for a partner to advance..... What do you guys think??..... opportunity for us to get more boots on ground apart from Venus tie up??...... or do you think it would be seen as a conflict of interest? Not invested @ CHF......but see it as a exciting prospect......but don't see much profit till next year..........Just throwing this in for you guys valued opinion.......

Well Chf have put some nice news out on Cyprus, their confidence seems to be growing fast. It would be nice for AAU to get weaving there or is that waiting for the JV to be concluded too :-/

So, when the new ball mill is installed we will have already doubled production so despite selling down RR we end up with the same amount of gold.... Then we add in TavshanThen we add in the Cyprus results and the massive bank balance....Should be well into double figures shortly!!

I think being a solid, steady growth prospect is unfashionable. No 50% daily rises here fed by Twitter/Telegram etc unfortunately just good fundamentals... interesting to see how it all pans out in the long run.
