29/9/2020 11:21 | I keep saying it but the real value will come from Ariana having the wherewithal to acquire other projects and further the one's already in place like Cyprus while the rest nicely ticks along in the background with Oz doing the heavy lifting. | ![]() soulsauce
29/9/2020 11:15 | Surely the whole point of the major partner having 53% is to have majority control. I note however that "Ariana and Proccea will maintain board representation on Zenit, with one director each, and Özaltin will be able to appoint two directors. Management control will remain with Proccea, and both Ariana and Proccea shareholdings will be protected within the Joint Venture by being non-dilutive and free-carried and subject to full minority protection rights. Shareholder control of Zenit will be based on agreement of 75% of the voting shares, equivalent to three out of the four directors" So on Zenit, Proccea `control` & 75% voting shares. I think that might be open to interpretation | tigerchris1
29/9/2020 11:13 | Seems like the same old questions and doubts are appearing, I cannot see why AAU need to double and triple confirm the details and phrase them in as many different ways to suit.I think everything is in the update, take it at face value :-) | ![]() dixi
29/9/2020 10:59 | Why would minority have power of veto ? Can you explain? | ![]() bigglesbingham
29/9/2020 10:35 | Edit... duplication, sorry | ![]() crossfirecssf
29/9/2020 10:34 | I was looking at: 1. will shareholders vote on the deal 2. will minority have veto power 3. definition of free carry and assurances | ![]() kaos3
29/9/2020 10:30 | Plas great summary. TBF I am not really putting much value on Salinbas long term at the moment. All the nearer term stuff and gold price supports a valuation much higher. But I think you are right - the ability to plough on with Salinbas will unfold much quicker and at no cost. This is the real reason to be here. Hope they get going on it assp. | ![]() ironstorm
29/9/2020 10:24 | Obviously there will be a drop when it goes ex div, by the value of the dividend... that is normal. But by then more investors will have been drawn in and seen the long-term prospects. What is holding the price back at present is that most of the present pool of investors are already in to the maximum they can afford. It need new interest to provide the potential to increases further. So yes it will drop but then continue upwards for some time to come. | tigerchris1
29/9/2020 10:21 | Anyone here got an eye on CCZ? New listing but some incredible drill results out already... Seems under the radar at the moment, dual listing on ASX. Described as "incredible grades" Simon Paull, Managing Director of Castillo Copper, commented: "Securing confirmation that high-grade rock chip assays are reconcilable with the previous drilling campaign is excellent news on the eve of the campaign getting underway. Our drilling team is working closely with the landowner to ensure all logistics are in place so work can get underway on schedule in mid-October." Ged Hall, UK Director of Castillo Copper, said: "The new assays from the Big One Deposit are a great validation of the high grade ore seen at this exciting project. It gives the team tremendous confidence to see these results spread across the tenure with further potential to include the target areas that will be drilled soon." | ![]() gregpeck7
29/9/2020 10:12 | Are people expecting a big drop when this goes ex-div? I think there probably will be, but with these prospects it's likely to be a short-lived dip IMO | ![]() cyberbub
29/9/2020 09:39 | No comment yet from the Deputy Sheriff of AIM? Come on Nigel give us your top slice advice remembering the share price is lower than a couple of weeks ago despite the news and enlarged divi | ![]() 1candc
29/9/2020 09:32 | Looks like Cyprus might get a big boost but doesn't look like any is headed in Palm's direction. I really thought Kerim might sign up to an earn-in in Aus. "The Company will also utilise its enhanced capital position to fund further growth of Ariana's business. The latter activity will involve the acquisition of new exploration and development projects either within Turkey or in other regional jurisdictions and provide for the advancement of the Company through the development of other assets held in whole or in part outside of the arrangements contemplated by the Transaction. In order to advance its active and advanced development projects in Turkey, Ariana will complete a management and services agreement with Proccea governing the ongoing development of the Joint Venture over a period of two years, while the Salinbas Project is being advanced through feasibility. Further to the completion of the proposed Transaction, Ariana will continue as a mineral exploration and development company in accordance with is core strategy" | ![]() soulsauce
29/9/2020 09:32 | Very good last point Plas...dwarfs anything else. By the way when do we go ex-div...is it after the vote or what? | ![]() 8rad
29/9/2020 09:29 | Great summary. Agree hugely undervalued and deal is great news for the company. | ![]() pauliewonder
29/9/2020 09:24 | BTW with the divi you are effectivly buying these at well south of 5p. | ![]() ironstorm
29/9/2020 09:23 | Bloody Kerim Senner. There he goes under promising and over delivering. Again. Tchoh. | rumpus1
29/9/2020 09:23 | Think BB mentioned that production RNS is due out this week too. Just surmising, but that must be pretty good. If they can afford to give more to shareholders - I am not expecting Kerim to skimp on the funds he needs to further develop the country. Production performance and sales of over 1900 (along with that silver credit?) must mean funds in the JV are going to be very juicy! | ![]() ironstorm
29/9/2020 09:09 | Interestingly some people are selling at a lower price than they could have got a couple of weeks ago before the JV and enhanced dividend news. Curious | ![]() 1candc
29/9/2020 09:08 | Well that was a wait!...finally the news we’ve been waiting for. Joe public and fund managers are quite astonishingly yet to arrive at the PM party, but when they finally do, Simba won’t even hear the stampede coming. With governments left and right bringing countries to their knees in the name of a virus which in numbers is currently killing less people than the flu, Central banks (AKA govts - same thing) only option remains and has remained since 2008, QE to the bitter end. There’s simply only one way for the PMs to go. One of these days the penny will drop like an anvil. Been sitting tight for 15 years. Who knows, the bubble blowers may keep it all going for another 15 (impossible). Either way my daughters will one day get the sweetest of surprises. | ![]() crossfirecssf
29/9/2020 09:06 | Christ.. I should've left it.My intention was to come up with a figure that was way higher than likely to illustrate that even in that case the divi would potentially treble. I wasn't doing accurate calculations I thought that was obvious. I even stated the figure was clearly inflated. Point being, if the deduction were 60% the outcome could be treble the previously suggested divi, so with 40%, 30% etc it would be 5, 6 times the value. Just a benchmark. | kirbs4
29/9/2020 09:00 | Charges and tax 60% seems very excessive to me?? | ![]() bigglesbingham
29/9/2020 08:59 | The figures are completely made up and as I said meant to be way over the top to illustrate that even with those it would mean almost treble the amount previously suggested. | kirbs4
29/9/2020 08:56 | Fantastic RNS this morning. 60% charges/tax - where are you getting those estimates from? (Also deal figures should be in $) | ![]() huffster |
