Cool millions to be made here on current gold prices and pipeline |
I suppose the hope is that after they hit 75% they buy us out for a few million which KS can spaff up the wall on some bluesky project in North Korea. |
why do the likes of ariana even do such exploration? is it even worth it??
o Newmont has the option to invest a further US$1 million in the Mining Company over a further period of two years, enabling it to earn-in to 60% in such Mining Company.
o Expenditure of a further US$15 million on a pre-feasibility study, which establishes a JORC or NI43-101 resource of over two million ounces of gold, will enable Newmont to earn-in to 75%. |
So if I read it correctly, Newmont will own 85% of the company if ultimately it is successful? How much might that benefit AAU shareholders? Gla. |
I should have said world's largest gold producer. My mistake. |
Again it is Mentor that is showing himself as the man worth backing. The outlook for WTR appears very exciting. Such an alliance and such financial support, albeit peanuts to Newmont, from the World's largest gold Co. is something that will get the industry taking notice off. Well done. |
It's good to see them paying more than today's pathetic destroyed share price, but it's not good to see them paying 2.375p when it was 2.7p at the start of last month and still might be if our great leader had declared the Dokwe risk factors like he was supposed to. |
Good to see Newmont paying 2.375p and congratulations to Mentor on success to date. |
Are the Canadian govt taking 26%? |
That would make Dokwe's 1.8m oz valued at $180m (c.£150m), a little over 8p/aau share.
Admittedly Dokwe's processing plant is yet to be built, but even taking that into account 1.625p seems a very low valuation.
And thats without the Turkish/Cypriot/Kosovo etc operations. |
Newmont sells Porcupine gold mine in Ontario:
4.35M oz.(Wiki) for $425m, so close to $100 oz. |
Anyone attending the Cape Town conference? Will we see significant interest and new investors coming on board? |
1450/oz, it's there, RNS 18/11/24. |
:D Nice quote of a source older than the company document quoting 1450 for current costs. Costs of "production to date" in a country running 50%+ inflation MAY not be all that helpful? No prizes for guessing who's the "F wit"
Off out for a while? You sure you've not gone for a lie down? :D |
Shortarm,
Then perhaps you could counter it by listing all the great things Kerim has done over the past three years to help make money for investors. |
After that lovely rosy snippet I am out of here for a while, when someone posts that Kerim should be living in a cave and eating air and six other no job talentless non achievers tick it up? Says it all. |
This is from the September 2024 presentation - and yes, costs have risen because they are operating 2 mines with the income from Kiziltepe. Once Tavsan is running I believe costs were estimated at 850 per oz? . revenue currently fully supporting Tavsan construction; less than US$650 per ounce typical cost of production to date.2 |
I don't understand why KS keeps looking for gold when he's so contemptuous of people wanting to "make a fast buck". Shouldn't he be meditating in a cave and eating air? |
Do not forget leg day Jonny! Will reply on Monday when I can be bothered dealing with F wits :-) |
:D Damn those inconvenient facts |
So, you think all that road transport costs nothing? Read the RNS footnote 18/11/24. |
No way costs are 650/oz You do know you wouldn’t include the expense of building a new mine in your costs for your original mine? |
In a couple of years time the price of gold is likely to be higher then it is today, reasonable to say over $3,000 per oz. |
Wow, and someone ticked your post up!!?Costs are around 650 per oz except when you are building another one (Tavsan). |
