We are swapping almost a half of our business for that $30m, you cannot count it twice. An uplift reflecting the added value of having a huge partner, now that can be considered additional but how do you value it. All depends on what Salinbas turns out to be.

So effectively on PG's valuation matrix with POG virtually at $2k giving us a share price of 11.99p with nothing for the $30 million from the JV they are saying that the share price is currently half price. Add on the $30m and this will be rocketing well into the high teens.

Interesting that there is no mention of silver. But overall that's a good starting point. My view is closer to 20p fair value now. But I'd take 12p and then a progressive move higher

Thanks Plasybryn, we're virtually at $2k Gold now so the valuation matrix is giving 11.99p right now excluding as you point out the $30 million due from the JV, where does that rocket the 11.99p share price to then!

Mabel - For most stock trades, settlement occurs two business days after the day the order executes. Another way to remember this is through the abbreviation T+2, or trade date plus two days. For example, if you were to execute an order on Monday, it would typically settle on Wednesday.
You mention a transaction settling mid September, that is a long way off and cannot be for a share transaction as settlement is only 2 days after the trade.
Perhaps you thought you had a longer time to settle?

Great news - the 28th August Panmure Gordon latest Broker Note is now on the Web Site under Analyst coverage.
The share price target is upped to 6.73p from 5.1p. But the Valuation matrix shows a range of prices from 7.59p to 13.6p. At $2000 gold with a 10% discount the share price valuation is 11.99p. Not bad for conservative Panmure Gordon.
The up lift in valuation is of course due to the higher gold price (not sure how much notice it takes of the silver uplift in these figures) and re-valuations of our main assets, particularly Kiziltepe and Salinbas. Tavsan at $16m still looks undervalued to me. But more importantly bear in mind that these valuations take no account of the forthcoming deal and large injection of cash or the drilling potential at Red Rabbit, Salinbas or Cyprus.

Your concerned about liquidity of broker because they have asked for payment? They have to hold in nominee account . What's you concern exactly ? Cheers

The broker who I have my ISA with has asked me for payment on a transaction

not due for settlement until mid September.

Must say it has set alarm bells ringing.

Silver looks very strong at the moment. Nearly $29. Bodes great for AAU as it's a free credit and we produce ten times the silver as we do gold.

We seem to be doing very nicely without news!
But I agree with Biggles, I think it is the Panmure Gordon Note which I believe will be changing attitudes and perspectives. Hopefully the Co. will get it up on the Web Site soon so it can be seen by all. Not sure what the delay is in doing that. I've reminded MdV.
