03/9/2020 16:34 | I am thinking more "electric car metals". Metals used for batteries are constantly under review and are easily replaced by latest "new kid on the block". Think copper, Cyprus. | ![]() thanksamillion
03/9/2020 16:19 | I think we sold that investment but I may be forgetting something. I think we plan to get into the battery metals again at some point. Kerim is always on the look out and will have the cash soon. | ![]() lottsgold
03/9/2020 16:06 | Is there still any lithium exploration (as per thread title) going on now or is it all about the gold and silver ? | ![]() energiser01
03/9/2020 14:48 | Good little interview. Silver credit is substantial. Looks like we are in a very healthy position :) | ![]() pauliewonder
03/9/2020 14:31 | Nice to hear the dividends are still flowing also. They should be substantial now looking forward to hearing how much they are with no debt being paid down. | ![]() lottsgold
03/9/2020 14:12 | risa, thanks for the link. good to hear from ks (towards the end) that aau company restructuring required for the jv with ozaltin (and proccea) has been completed. they must be very close now to getting it signed, maybe even by end sept with a bit of luck - that would tie in with the 'in the next few weeks comment'. | ![]() konil
03/9/2020 13:52 | Ariana Resources discovers new high grade vein at Kiziltepe mine in Turkey Ariana Resources PLC's (LON:AAU) Dr Kerim Sener talks to Proactive London regarding their latest new discovery of high grade gold vein at the Kiziltepe mine in Turkey. The 'most important vein' at the Kiziltepe project, the Arzu South part of the mine, which has been mined for over three years now revealed high grades of up to 6.09 grams per tonne plus 107.58 grams per tonne silver. Sener believes this puts the company on track to met their production target of around 18,000 ounces of gold by the end of the year. | ![]() risa5
03/9/2020 12:26 | Cinoib, if you use the main web version of ADVFN, rather than the app, you can elect to show 'all' on a chart. This covers the entire listed life of AAU :-) | ![]() dixi
03/9/2020 12:17 | Best I bought was 0.72p. Two years ago just before I went to mine I bought at 1.17p. | ![]() bigglesbingham
03/9/2020 11:45 | dixi, can't remember that one, charts here only go back 7 years and then was 1p. | ![]() cinoib
03/9/2020 11:33 | Big 600k buy at 6.6 this morning. | ![]() snotra
03/9/2020 10:47 | They appear to be incapable of error. The chart seems to be forming what I think Jim Sinclair referred to as a “Swiss Stair”. Up, consolidate, up consolidate...etc. Long may it continue. And still plenty news to come against a continually growing PM market. Shaping up for the perfect storm. | ![]() crossfirecssf
03/9/2020 10:41 | The JV: - -- Following the repayment of the US$33 million construction capital loan to Turkiye Finans Katilim Bankasi A.S., the JV is largely free of debt but maintains a separate working capital loan balance with the bank of approximately US$7.0 million which is expected to be repaid in full by October 2021. | 1candc
03/9/2020 10:40 | The JV, not Ariana.... Correct? | ![]() shortarm
03/9/2020 10:30 | Kirbs4 - quite right - the JV maintains a separate working capital loan balance with the bank of approximately US$7.0 million which is expected to be repaid in full by October 2021. It may be repaid earlier as the rise in the POG has created more cash flow than previously estimated. | 1candc
03/9/2020 10:11 | I don't mean to sound pedantic in fact I hope I've missed something, but we are only capital debt free right? | kirbs4
03/9/2020 10:06 | easwarareddy - nowhere near fair value yet when you consider an injection of $30 million is due soon re the JV plus the promised dividend, on top of that the company is debt free and awash with cash, near term news from Cyprus can be expected and the development of Salinbas will be further impetus to the share price The PG note valuation grid put AAU worth near 12p a share with the POG at $2,000 and that excluded any value derived from the JV plus dividend. The share price appreciation here has been a long time coming and has exposed just how undervalued the company is. | 1candc
03/9/2020 09:47 | Wonder how long this can keep rising. Surely we due a pull back soon? | ![]() easwarareddy
03/9/2020 09:36 | Cinoib, go back to 2011 and AAU was around this level, go back further it was double figures. Admittedly there were far few shares in circulation back then. | ![]() dixi
03/9/2020 09:35 | Let the trend be your friend seems to be the order of the day now. | ![]() charles clore
03/9/2020 09:30 | Yes it is odd isn't it that the dreaded huge spread that has put people off for years is currently our potential saviour from volatility :) | kirbs4
03/9/2020 09:23 | I think traders will cotton onto gold mining stocks more and more. Long term there is huge value here but we may start to see some volatility, particularly if the spread tightens. | ![]() pauliewonder
03/9/2020 09:20 | Early days yet, JV to be finalised, $30m into the accounts, dividend to be announced, news soon from Cyprus(?), etc. etc. | 1candc |
