23/7/2020 11:31 | Primed for launch here imo, positive news now and this shoots up. Hopefully it wont be so long that fingers get itchy at these levels again. | kirbs4
23/7/2020 11:02 | Does feel like she's ready to blow now! Hopefully it holds off until middle of next week have a good chunk earmarked for AAU! | lottsgold
23/7/2020 10:43 | There is a hell of a disconnect in the past couple of months between AAU and almost every other gold and silver producer that I know of. For those who ask why, I would suggest lack of punch in the company's news and outlook. For those who know AAU of old this is par for the course but I do know the undervaluation can't last. The lid is going to blow on this one and imho it won't be long either! | charles clore
23/7/2020 10:38 | Very coiled! But at this level so many 'loose' holder have let go that when it sets off it will be a proper case of the zoomies! | shortarm
23/7/2020 10:11 | I don't think any of us can pranchalee apart from the wait for the results and the JV. There is an awful lot of coiled springing happening. | soulsauce
23/7/2020 10:11 | My point is that they are paying in Turkish Lira, and you can see what is happening to that and must know why. OK, they pay spot price and Zenit immediately change to dollars except for Lira they need. | paul280i
23/7/2020 10:08 | This should be booming ,can’t understand why not | pranchalee
23/7/2020 10:02 | I think they are paying full price at the moment whereas if they owned the mines they wouldn't. I'm not suggesting this is going to happen, my point was it's a nice position to be in, I will feel much safer being the minority partner in a Turkish business. | lottsgold
23/7/2020 09:50 | Lottsgold - Why would Turkey even consider taking over the mine(s)? The government buy all the gold output with Turkish Lira, which they could print at minimal cost. They don't have to run the mines, sort out the problems or find additional resources. Basically the government are getting all our gold at no cost to themselves. Not a bad business to be in. | paul280i
23/7/2020 09:34 | Gold going gangbusters at $1,881 as i write - surely this has to reflect in the share price at some point! | nov31
23/7/2020 09:12 | That's why this deal is so important, the cash and divi is a nice bonus. | lottsgold
23/7/2020 09:06 | Nail - head - boom! | shortarm
23/7/2020 09:00 | Ozaltin have a lot of clout in Turkey that is very helpful for getting EIA forestry and other permits very quickly. | risa5
23/7/2020 08:49 | I do like the fact there is a clear exit strategy in Turkey. If gold does make crazy new highs the government hopefully won't look at grabbing our mines as they will be majority Turkish anyway. I'd be happy with the San Miguel, just incase anyone is stocking the bar in anticipation! | lottsgold |
