I also like the read across from Centamin. Shows clear value in what we own.

I like this deal - brings cash forward for the benefit of shareholders and offers a rapid ramp up. Price of 5p to start easily on the cards.

And so I have today topped up my holding. 6.2m shares are now mine.

I guess either investors choose to trust Kerim's integrity or they don't with this deal and his future plans for AAU.

Are you selling? Or shorting? Or are you just disgruntled with the deal and staying invested because either way you feel the shareprice has limited downside?

I don't disagree it might have been better to have sold the whole shebang.
However I don't see how the management have been sent packing to Cyprus especially when Kerim has been looking at it for over two years. It is a very opportune time to get in to Cyprus and copper.
This deal has given them the wherewithal to do it and not dilute shareholders.

If this is as you suggest, why would an aggressor not simply buy the lot?

Only an aggressor can demand a majority control of your existing cash producing mining asset at a discount to its existing worth. Let's ignore any premium for upside potential.

The prized but not developed Salinbas asset is being sold for peanuts. Looks like management is being sent packing to Cyprus for the next decade.

While the downside from here is limited. Much of the upside has been forsaken for not obvious reasons. Better to have sold the lot? Then as investors, we could decide to follow management to Cyprus or not.

You have made some valid points there dearg, however with or without the deal still leaves Ariana seriously undervalued.

Yes and that suggests the much bigger entity and Turkish company Proccea had also been muscled out.

Suggesting Ariana have been forced into this deal by an aggressor whom they cannot disclose seems a bit radical?

Ariana Resources' Kerim Sener details significant Salinbas JV and new Cyprus investment.

As a shareholder, I watched the video a couple of times. Improved a bit on my 2nd viewing. Kerim was asked the obvious questions, that investors were asking. Unfortunately, Kerim's answers were more bulletin board answers, with a distinct lack of detail, as to the overriding logic of owing half of what was previously owned.

Kerim Sener seems a hostage to the truth. Yes, due diligence by the acquirer takes time. The need for non-disclosure of party interested raises an eyebrow. Local considerations. May be Ariana's management team are being pressurised into the deal? Would not the banks lend money based on the current successful mine terms for the next mine? Would not their existing partner not have the expertise and willingness to enter into a profitable Salinbas venture?

Certainly, seems at face value, Ariana still being bought out of their own cash flow and profits. Only factors that make sense of everything, is that without political and local clout, Ariana was going nowhere. They were essentially bunkered for next decade unless they agreed to the terms of the aggressor who ends up with 53% of everything and the future timing.

Was Ariana management offered a sum to be bought out completely? A deal like that could have to remove Ariana all-together with a cash bid for all assets. This would be my preferred option. Ariana may be skilful, but not the only explorers with equivalent skills.

The share price that should have doubled, but didn't. The only positive price-sensitive information remaining is the conclusion of the deal, with an unknown party who can be then be named. Shareholders votes will be bought with a special dividend.

Yes excellent interview on Proactive. I too like Kerim, he comes across as both competent and confident. Another reason I'm invested here too. Well done Biggles, I admire your faith.

Thanks biggles. My biggest holding is AAZ where I profited enormously from the knowledge shared by 3 investors (who I have since met) who travelled to see the mine and meet the key executives. I will look back to your earlier notes with interest. It's only a small position for me at the moment, but that may change.

Don't mind if stand-alone or not as long as 30000 oz and mine life 4 but more likely significantly longer. The IRR is tremendous with tarsvan think 80% but don't quote me it's late.

Suspect it was the same person who dropped the second 1m @ 2.12p?

Re the video, Tavsan to be a standalone mine; ie reference to the larger JV having "3 mines"?

Hi mad I am confident as this company has always ticked my boxes, reasonable share holding by directors , well run, under promise over deliver style. Yes I visited the site last year so have done my research I did post quiet a number of feedback posts on ADVFN . It was October 2018. If I have questions the directors come back straight away , I don't get any info the market doesn't have but I make sure I try and understand what direction they are going. Here we have a potential payout in cash to AAU more than today's market cap with 23.5% of some potentially excellent assets. If the deal doesn't come off then the profit from kiziltepe from April next year when cap ex paid more than covers today's market cap so either way I see today's shareprice significantly less than valuation. So yes I'm confident. Any questions feel free to ask. Ps reason for shareprice reduction to pre announcement is just a couple of sellers but always we get that after such a transformational decision.

Very reassuring video. Quite a few clues in there as to who the new JV partner might be for anyone with a handle on sizeable Turkish companies.

2yrs of DD done on Cyprus and Kerim very confident on the future of copper.

What's not to like 😉

Not sure where you get share price deflation. From where I'm sitting the shares are pretty much at a 3 year high apart from last week's flurry of speculative price action.
