Gold holding up reasonably well given the strength of the US Dollar and technically still looks to be in reasonable shape provided it can hold onto the breakout (if it breaks below $1400 it will be interesting to see whether it can be regained as I suspect that there are a fair number of stops sitting around $1390 now).

I don't know why, considering the gold:silver ratio is so high and gold looks OK, but technically silver looks just awful. It has not broken out.

JD when i say overshadowed by Salinbas and current mining project i meant by the pi's, we tend to discuss anything other than Tavsan, it is rarely mentioned. I feel optimistic about all their projects, i am usually a glass half filled investor, occassionally veering over to a glass half empty investor.

Biggles i haven't felt especially comfortable with mm's for a few days, maybe a big buyer out there, not sure.

Think they expect more. It's a leach process and the transport lorries with the liquified compound down to the mine. They were examining best ways to transport I believe when I visited but this was procea . I may be wrong but they were optimistic about it.

It shouldn't be overshadowed, ita s vitally important part of the plan. My understanding is that Tavsan is a relatively' poor prospect in terms of grams per tonne but there is quite a lot of it, and its at the surface. Think you mine it with a pick and shovel. Be interesting to see if there is an expansion of the current 4 year mine life that they seemed fairly confident of

Tavsan has with good reason been overshadowed by Salinbas and current mining project, we could be pleasantly surprised.

Good point SFS, had forgotten the Tavsan update. Lets hope for that.

Below taken from rns issued end of March 2019. Might be a rns giving a update on Tavsan project before meeting.

Resource infill, geotechnical and hydrological diamond-drilling scheduled to commence at the Tavsan Project next week.

I was saying to a fellow investor last night how it is potentially a perfect storm here. This rise has come at the absolute perfrct time if Salinbas is what we think it could be. In fact i would go so far as to say a small fip back to 2.3/2.2 before the initial results mid july would be perfect. Get rid of some of the weaker holders pre-news.

In the absence of news a nice pennant is forming anyway so hopefully when any news does drop it will be the next spring board.

May be they will surprise us 😂

Sadly true! Also does appear the gold rally has stalled a bit along with ours. Could be the end of the excitement temporarily

Crossfire you've been pushing gold as long as I can remember you have to have been right sometimes lol. Joking apart I enjoy this board and the banter on it and mostly the educated posts! Cheers

One would hope that given the location of the meeting that it is not just a run of the mill update.
Or may be Panmure have picked up on the flack and want to be looking to be doing something.

Here's hoping.

I am in total agreement (as nearly always!) with Biggles. AAU would normally provide some sort of presentation as part of the AGM. It just happens that Kerim is not available on the AGM day and we all know that he is the lead 'presenter'. So I see tomorrows presentation as a hastily scheduled alternative to that, not a forum for new information. Without an RNS there can be no new information presented during the meeting imo, because the meeting takes place while the market is open. From Kerims own recent interviews we know that Salinbas assays are not due back until the end of June, and then wont be subject to an RNS until analysed by him and his team. I would love to be wrong, and will happily eat my hat it that proves to be the case, but I doubt we will see an RNS containing any significant information tomorrow as none is due. Unless, as Dic surmised, we are subject of a bid but I find that unlikely.

I would like to hope for an RNS tomorrow with a few of the preliminary results from the Salinbas drilling, but I may be disappointed.
