2 x 1m sells and no movement? Is ADVFN app not reporting all trades or could there be a large buy in the background supporting it?

Biggles, the private use of drones can lead and does at times lead to some very bad behaviour. I feel quite strongly their use should be restricted to business, aiding those with mobility issues, security (not military use) and rescue operations only, and even then use with care by trained operatives. That is not necessarily a comprehensive list of uses.
I think having a younger bod than most companies have in charge has been very good for the company as younger folk seem more willing and able to adopt and use modern technology very successfully. I do beleive he has covered the whole of Hot Maden by drone and knows exactly what's what in the whole corridor not just our neck of the woods. I do how hope Amazon are not allowed to use drones for parcel delivery !

I bloody hate drones I fly gyros and helicopters and soon they are going to stop us flying low cos of them things!!! However joking apart technology is heavily involved in kerims search methods. I believe but can't swear to it but he used satellites to find certain metals during his early years (poss uni) and applied the principle to finding gold . Seems to be working.

Biggles,
I think somewhere in AAU's new website it says how useful the drones they use are in sorting out where the best place is to put roads and other infrastructure useful in major decision making regarding building a mine. The new technology available by the use of drones is staggering, not just in reducing exploring costs.

Hi Plas, the problem with trying to predict when events will occur is full of pitfalls and diversions ! Historically funding for exploration/development has been tight. While funding is now more available in the way of income from Kiziltepe they still need to balance the need to get permits, possibly investigate new adjacent licences, analyse new results as they become available and change direction according to these facts, as well as factoring in any new projects they get their hands on. I get the impression that Kiziltepe has the potential to be considerably upgraded in terms of production and mine life, in particular when Tavsan is included in the mix. It is the cash machine, the driving force behind AAU that will hopefully lead to Salinbas becoming a multi-million au resource. As Tavsan is subject to further investigations i wouldn't be at all surprised if that becomes a much bigger resource than it already is which may threw the feasibilty study completely out of the window until even more drilling place. Again Kizilcukur may produce results that require further expansion on current known drilling areas.
I do believe AAU has the flexibility to change direction as need be subject to above mentioned activities which makes my calender at best a very rough guide as to when we can expect news. It does however look like a constant stream of good news may occur.

Yes didn't see anything that put me off. Was a little concerned with Salinbas terrain but board comfortable that it's Mineable. And then they confirmed hot madden have to redirect a river and relocate village,

Buying ahead of prelims and assay results seems sensible to me.

Biggles - hopefully we don't need luck. This is what Michael (Chairman) said in the last Annual Report and Accounts on page 11 -

" We acknowledge the continuing disconnect between our share price and the value of our assets when assessed in terms of the in-situ value of our resource and reserve ounces. On this basis alone, irrespective of any cash flow from Kiziltepe, we believe the share price should be multiples of the current level" .

You can't get much more positive than that. Anyone disagree with the Chairman?

No doubt Biggles, within a reasonable term you could be a very wealthy man, but then you have been to see the mine and the operation with your own eyes and as a result have the confidence to invest c. 3%. Sensible.

Reference the calendar swallowsflysouth (13369) I been having another look at this and wonder if any of this helps?

Tavsan April - You mention the Internal Feasibility Study which I understand will be undertaken by Zenit. The E.I.A. permit comes first I believe, which should be late 2019. The actual I.F.S. won't need to be done until they are close to seeking the Bank finance. That is it's main purpose, so it could be delayed till 2020.

Kizilcukur: August - you mention the toll/other arrangement with Proccea Construction Co. which is obviously correct, but again that won't happen as I understand until they have completed the Kizilcukur Internal Feasibility Study. This will be done by Ariana to consider viability of mining and trucking to the Kiziltepe mine. This information will then feed into the financial discussions/negotiations with Proccea. I'm not sure when we can expect the I.F.S. to be completed but probably mid year. But bear in mind the focus on Salinbas and "additional resource-focused work directed towards extending the life of mine at Kiziltepe".

Any thoughts? Hope this helps.

Looking forward to the results of the 386 samples delivered to ALS Global, Izmir which should be available this month. This will be followed by a resource update.
