06/8/2021 08:32 | Well, there's some demand from somewhere! You can currently sell 600,000 at 4.61p - although no one in their right mind would!!! :-D | shortarm
06/8/2021 08:01 | Graylyn1 - That was 20th July no. We already know that!! | plasybryn
06/8/2021 07:46 | have there been any more rumours - or even facts - of any possible AAU activity in Australia ? | backmarker
06/8/2021 07:44 | Graylyn1, thanks for that. | backmarker
06/8/2021 07:44 | Graylyn1, thanks for that. | backmarker
05/8/2021 21:46 | Hi backmarker. Court approved statement of capital has been recorded at Companies House. -- First tranche of the Special Dividend of 0.35 pence per ordinary share is intended to be declared as an interim dividend and paid during Q3 2021. -- Second tranche of the Special Dividend of 0.175 pence per ordinary share is intended to be declared as a second interim dividend and paid six months thereafter. -- Final tranche of the Special Dividend of 0.175 pence per ordinary share will be proposed for approval at the 2021 Annual General meeting. -- Special Dividend will represent an aggregate payment of 0.7 pence per ordinary share. -- Further announcements will be made in respect of the record and payment dates for each of the above tranches, with additional details. News of payment dates immanent. my guess 1/ sept 2021 0.35p 2/ march 2022 0.175 3/ sept 2022 .175 so total of 0.7p divi over a 12 month period which looks really attractive to me with current yield of 14.5% assuming the share price is still 4.8p offer this time next Sept with such a lot going on here, at AAU I would be very shocked if we where under 10p this time next year, famous last words LOL | graylyn1
05/8/2021 17:45 | I've not been following closely of late, so would someone tell me, please: - has AAU actually got the proceeds of the tripartite deal in its bank account ? - is there a definitive date and amount for that special dividend ? | backmarker
05/8/2021 16:28 | Sure your catching up ha ha but as I keep harping on the fundamentals here are so much better that pre JV announcement back in Nov 2019. | bigglesbingham
05/8/2021 16:20 | I wish Z a few million to go yet!! ?? | renniks2016
05/8/2021 15:48 | Yep I sold the 3 x silver just before . Pure manipulation | bigglesbingham
05/8/2021 14:58 | Its 10am NY time and gold/silver takes its daily bath right on queue, tell me its not manipulation. | thanksamillion
05/8/2021 14:51 | You'll be getting a mention on the company website like bb at that rate! | zedder
05/8/2021 14:44 | I see Kerim is out and about on a three day trip with team at Palm, looking very relaxed and it's good to seem him get away from the shadow of the air con unit! Could not resist 500k at under 4.7! Tidy. While the cats away the mice will play.As they say, 'a transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient.' | renniks2016
05/8/2021 13:02 | Someone in the marketing space needs to pick up the baton and really promote this. This really is an incredible opportunity at under 5p now and anything up to 10p before Salinbas drill results and Tavsan. | charles clore
05/8/2021 12:46 | Fully agree with that plas and couldn't resist a little nibble. | bigglesbingham
05/8/2021 12:45 | Sensible post Plas but thinking Cyprus could be the near term springer.Still can't understand the Divi delay though. | 8rad
05/8/2021 12:34 | Investing can be annoying, but it is rarely a short term affair. If you are happy with the fundamentals and have confidence the key movers will drive out value and are well invested themselves,("skin in the game") as here, it is as always just a matter of being patient. Justin Waite of Vox Markets was recently talking about this very issue. He says from his experience over many years it is best to get committed to say 5 shares and then hold them through market fluctuations. Trading in and out or from one share to another, rarely results in the best results long term. Over the years I've had a number of Ten Baggers and that is exactly my experience. There are quite a few long term shareholders invested big time in Ariana who aren't going anywhere fast. We've been waiting years to seriously explore the Hot Gold Corridor which will start with Salinbas (September?) and perhaps a bit latter Hizarliyayla (just a few kilometres north of Hot Maden, where the've found a world class gold deposit). Ariana on it's own didn't really have the wherewithal to really make proper strides in the Hot Gold Corridor but now we have Qzaltin on board, who have committed a separate $US8m into this project to take it to Feasibility Study stage, we are ready to roll. This could be the Company maker and I've great confidence that will prove to be the case. In the meantime they are going to pay me for my patience, so sitting around is just that little bit easier. Hang on in there. | plasybryn
05/8/2021 12:34 | Well there we are, the chart looks nasty but as per my previous posts investor psychology is being manipulated here. Buy and sell prices little changed but the headline Bid/offer showing large down dip. If no one can explain all this then I have to assume dodgy dealings from the people who control these prices. Anyone any thoughts. PS. Have you got a dodgy finger BB, posts sometimes difficult to read. | thanksamillion
05/8/2021 12:34 | Hmm Is a producers slightly more than aau. My point is I feel away has better prospects hence held up better. Having said that it's going to come under pressure when an investor tells market what they have dumped and what they intend to dump when thjj ok we figures are significant. Anyway sure many will sweep up | bigglesbingham
05/8/2021 12:11 | bb, i have not researched them but are chf/hmm producers and about to start divi payments, with little or no debt and healthy cash pile (most smaller miners are not) and do they have the breadth of new projects from early stage to near production that aau has? i see aau as a fairly unique opportunity so unless others reflect similar qualities its not really comparable. also given its attributes i feel aau is undervalued so any fall is harder to put up with. i'm not pointing this at management (other than any of it that is due to poor comms) because the market is often wrong but can stay wrong for a long time and defeat individual investors...like me! | konil
05/8/2021 11:16 | As I've said grass may look greener but sector been hit. CHF and HMM down 50% from their highs late last year we've held up reasonably well down 20% from high , | bigglesbingham
05/8/2021 09:43 | carcosa, sorry to hear that but as per my post 6786 there will be others in same boat. even the near term 7% return did not hold you, goes to show company is creating much disenchantment in the ranks. anyway, gl elsewhere. | konil
05/8/2021 08:21 | Chunky 550k sell first thing, no doubt they'll find their way into the hands of a 'keeper'.... | shortarm
05/8/2021 08:01 | I have had enough. At the height of my holding it was in excess of GBP200k but been selling in recent weeks. Now just down to ~GBP50k which I will mostly sell this week. The share price is 15% lower than this time last year. Gold price has done diddly squat despite covid. The opportunity cost has been too much to accept. Good luck to the long term holders. | carcosa
04/8/2021 23:18 | Been a theme for many months | bigglesbingham |
