09/7/2021 14:47 | Good post Iron. Slight correction that final results RNS was to flag a delay. We certainly have had a flurry of news recently it's amazing within all of it we haven't heard anything about our two main projects in Tavsan and Salinbas. It shows there is an lot for the small AAU team to keep them very busy.P.S. PG are pants :-) | d1g3y
09/7/2021 12:25 | jaf, yes they will and its fair enough, within reason, that they do it to their timescales, they run the show after all. my point was that perhaps the latest 'delay' (in apostrophes because some may not see it as a further delay) could be because they are assessing the payout and may decide to enhance it by including some accumulated profits. i know its unlikely but just wishful thinking! | konil
09/7/2021 11:51 | Charles - Companies House filings can be 24/7 online including weekends. The Guidance only mentions 10-14 days there is no mention of working days. | masterg1
09/7/2021 11:36 | Master - I assume that's 10-14 working days? | charles clore
09/7/2021 11:17 | Early July was always optimistic, as it normally takes Companies House between 10-14 days to process Capital reduction form SH19. My Guess would be sometime next week depending on when the forms were forwarded to Companies House. They can normally be done online, like most things these days. | masterg1
09/7/2021 10:32 | konil, I have every confidence that the BoD will get everything done that needs to be done, but they will do it in a time frame that is convenient for them, rather than for us. | jaf1948
09/7/2021 10:01 | we are now in territory where we can say the paydate has been further delayed because the 'early' july date for divi details has been missed (unless rns squeezed in later today). my hope, admittedly rather low in likelihood, is that they are lining up ducks for a bigger payout incorporating 50% jv proceeds already mentioned plus distribution of some accumulated profits. with legalities sorted and company financial structure aligned the frequency/amount etc. of divs, whether one-off or ongoing, should be entirely at bod control. | konil
09/7/2021 09:07 | I'm sure Biggles will have spoken to him lol. | shortarm
09/7/2021 09:02 | MDV is the secretary, so the registration at Companies House sits squarely on his desk. | xow98
09/7/2021 08:34 | OT age and being grumpy maybe age brings experience and evolved intuition - recognizing situations for what they really are - and calling it out - as there is nothing left to fear - being older younger ones are just lacking milage sometimes of course there are different kinds of old and young etc I learned to listen to the old hacks they fuc.. know it and are even being nice for what they know PS - thanks Renniks - for the sound of silence - and for speaking | kaos3
08/7/2021 20:10 | Great post pharm, gave me a good laugh. | soulsauce
08/7/2021 20:04 | Nobody here today has mentioned the Danish disillusionment in VAR ...Very Angry Repositors. | 8rad
08/7/2021 16:02 | Maybe they will do a Beckenbauer and score from the touchline. That would leave us all gob smacked. Maybe that's the plan cos nobody could foresee that but we'd all be happy. | charles clore
08/7/2021 15:20 | Cheers Thanksamillion. Spot on JAF. | soulsauce
08/7/2021 14:32 | I've been here 7 years and I'm in my 70s so time is not really my friend here. There are times when slow and deliberate is an advantage. Since football is the current Zeitgeist, the old saying seems appropriate that if you saw Franz Beckenbauer running, the stadium must be on fire. Our board may want to give the impression that they are in control and doing things at their pace, but that's not the way it's coming over. | jaf1948
08/7/2021 13:51 | Charles and soul I can understand the frustration coming from those who have held for so long. Suppose I come from a different group who joined the party in the last three or four years, our experience is much more positive, and I suppose forgiving. Also at 68 and in reasonably good health ( i think, or rather until i arnt) there is time in my favour. | thanksamillion
08/7/2021 13:40 | Maybe that will be outlined at the same time as the 'future dividend policy'I.E. how they'll fund it :-D | shortarm
08/7/2021 13:35 | May be they are doing all those things renniks but how would we know and more importantly how would we value it? When did we last have a proper operational update? | soulsauce
08/7/2021 13:17 | Perhaps they are all busy updating JORC reports, remodeling resources, analysing more drill results, permitting, doing due diligence on future acquisitions, guiding recent acquisitions to finding more gold, silver, copper, zinc and what ever else is out there. we all know whats coming, we all know it will be this month and payment next month. They have stated that, what more is there to say other than the finer details of exactly how much and what hour of the day you will get it? Chill guys, its all good. | renniks2016
08/7/2021 12:57 | Shortarm - I'm not really a grumbling, grumpy person. I just think we deserve better treatment than we have been getting, especially now the coffers are full of cash and the bod has had a couple of years to formulate a dividend policy. So we now have the legal basis for a dividend so where is the policy and why can't they share it with us? Perhaps someone can think of a reason for secrecy at this stage and share it with us because I can't fathom it out as I only hold a City and Guilds final certificate in telecommunications. If Rudyard Kipling was on the bod he would be asking: what is the dividend policy? where will it be published? when will it be unveiled? how will the policy be implemented? why hasn't this been promulgated to shareholders yet? who is responsible for getting it done? The same questions could also be asked about a future operational and development road map for current and proposed mining projects - with milestones and reviewed quarterly. | charles clore
08/7/2021 12:54 | Lol Shortarm. I know I have a Bee in my bonnet about the broker but it is things like that and Kerims insistence in keeping them against very obvious failings in the eyes of shareholders and what they were set on to do that make me want to move on once and for all. In the absence of them doing very little to nothing I would love Kerim to explain his insistence in keeping them especially as it must be obvious to him now that many existing shareholders are annoyed at the lack of PR and new shareholders quite obviously not being attracted to invest here in the very competitive small miners market. What is the point having a broker that does not appeal to PIs when the majority of the share base is just that. | soulsauce
08/7/2021 12:32 | You're a grumpy old lot on here at the moment :-PHopefully you'll be happier (and me too) in a month or so..... | shortarm
08/7/2021 12:27 | Good post Charles . Lots of bad memories in there. I have been in this stock, with the exception of a few small gaps, from when this company was learning to walk, a long long time. My patience wears thinner by the day though. As many have said us folk aren't getting any younger. I am wondering when we are ever going to hear anything from our shy broker. | soulsauce |
