I was told after my last purchase that I should start ramping this share so here goes:

...blah blah...good fundamentals...blah blah...background seller...blah blah...gold silver and copper...blah blah...Cyprus...blah blah...7p once merger is all finished...

Is that enough ?

I have managed to buy 150k but that's the maximum I can get quoted for online. Maybe they are taking it down to fill an order?

I think that governments around the world would be happy with some inflation for a while. Nothing like it to reduce debt. Of course, it is rather difficult to control. Go too soft and it runs away, too hard and you trigger deflation. I think there is a possibility, although not probable, that we will experience a period of stagflation.

US inflation: a long way to the top

Headline US inflation has risen from 0.2% year-on-year last May to 1.7% today, but it is barely half-way to the 3.5-4% area where we see it peaking. While officials remain broadly relaxed, we believe inflation could remain elevated through next year, potentially triggering the Fed into earlier action on interest rates than they are currently signalling...

Gold gonna shoot up here. US inflation up 0.4% to 1.7% over past 12 months. Should see some good gold and silver momentum

konil: I think some will be pleased the Special Pay-Out falls into the next financial year, allowing them to shelter more funds in ISA & SIPP's so by avoiding tax implications.

actonovator. Yes I agree. I think the E.I.A. for Tavsan should be value accretive. I'm also expected the drill programme at the Magellan project in Cyprus to commence this month. But perhaps we won't get any results for a while.

thanks plasybryn. still a long way to go! who knew all these steps were required, last year ks did mention some prerequisites would be necessary but when he sprang the details recently it did seem an age away.

In KS's last interview he said EIA approval for Tavsan this quarter - it sounded imminent. Some definite detail on a second mine would hopefully have an impact on the share price

I'm expecting a run up in the share price as the Special Pay-out gets announced and nearer and the message finally starts to be understood by the wider market. Whose to say Income Funds won't be attracted.

I'm not Biggles, but from my understanding:
EXPECTED TIMETABLE OF PRINCIPAL EVENTS

Court Hearing - 16th March (next week)
Capital Reduction approved - 30th March 2021
Registration of Court Order & effective date of Capital Reduction - 21st April 2021.

Given the details have to be announced and an ex dividend and payment date set with at least 2 weeks between, I am expecting an ex dividend date of early May and a payment date of late May. But at least by June imo. Anyone else have a view?

Hopefully 2021 Kiziltepe production "Guidance" isn't far away now.

bb, what's your latest view on when the special divi is likely to be actually paid out?
konil

yes, i think he said if you can't do it for $20 or $30 or $40 you shouldn't be in the game. so another positive for aau.

imo its going to be a little time before aau can show the market the next accretive steps so my worry is the sliding share price meanwhile. if pog does turn around it could help support aau share price until next corporate blockbuster is delivered.

Konil - and did you pick up on his important comments about the cost of discovery for gold. Ours is in quartile 1 at just circa $15 per oz. Few others can boast that.

plasybryn, thanks for the link.

almost all interviewees in such interviews are chosen for their involvement in pm industry (and are mostly rich having made a lot of money in the pm space) so i view with interest but am very wary of confirmation bias.

that said, i agree with you and see parallels in the 1+1+1=5 with aau and no doubt it is why mdv thought it worth posting it. also the piece on au/cu deposits being the bees knees - very promising for venus.

lassonde reckons industry wide the aisc is $850 and so at $1700 profit is 100%. probably another reason why mdv liked it so much, with aau's aisc closer to $600 profit margin is more like 200%!

just hope the share price stops dripping away and holds steady before next up leg.

Plasybryn I hear ya but I think the world finances are in that much turmoil that just about everyone is guessing how this is all going to play out and there are as many voices saying the halcyon days of gold are unlikely to return as those still saying it is going to hit $3000 plus.
However one thing most agree on is copper and I hope that is where most of Kerims thinking is with regard to new assets.

My reply on Twitter to Michael's post.Great guy who knows his onions. 1+1+1=5 sounds like the new transformational deal Ariana Resources (AAU) has just done. He would love Ariana's world class discovery cost - $15 per oz. Copper is again identified as central to the "green " revolution- Ariana buys into Cu in Cyprus.
