Yep....They more or less wiped out all that good buying today so far......as if they counting it all up, and placing sell accordingly......frustrating.

And there it is. Anyone still think there isn't a high volume seller in the background?

Bought back in this a.m, chunks here and there - 500k
Usually when I buy the share price drops, sods law, but hasn't happened yet...very cheap at these levels but this is AAU where anything can happen...

Actually folk, I like the look of the chart, unbelievable as it may appear. Reminds me of March last year when the sell-off was overdone, solid support level at 4p and an intra-day spike down a few days ago. Looking forward, we have the divi, the usual scattering of drilling results and updates from Cyprus. Then there is news of the next area of exploration/JV in Europe plus more clarity on the way forward with Ozaltin though I am not expecting this operation to progress at great pace, just steady away.
Like last year, we are whincing during a difficult time for the sp, but the company is sound, cash rich, the outlook will clarify,.... and views will change!

That would imply that the share price has never risen which I don't believe is the case. There is not a direct relationship but I have yet to see a miner that hasn't risen during a bull market for the commodity it produces.

When gold goes up the share price goes down. When gold goes down the share price goes down. No connection between the two.

Cannot comprehend that gold is now sub $1,700 per Oz in the world global economic conditions since WW2; Especially given the premium that you have to pay for physical from the various mints throughout the world. One word springs to mind...it starts with 'man' and ends with 'ipulation'.

If it does get to 4p I'll be loading up, that's a huge value disconnect

So back to 4p where it will remain for how many months or years ?

Chill folk, I'm content to pay 4.? for a share that I think is worth perhaps 7p at the mo and much much more in a few years. Others it seems are willing to part with them at the current level, but one day they all will have moved on and only clever tight holders like what I is will be left. Lets see what the price is then ;-)

The share price is down 2p from its 6.3p high on 3rd September last year.
So down nearly a third, since then. Michael de Villiers, Chairman owns 55m shares, so on paper he is down £1.1m. Ouch.
And yet since last September the Co. has announced all these positives:-
1. Maiden JORC resource at Magellan, Cyprus & subsequent updated mineral resource estimate.
2. Exceeded full year production by 3.5%
3. Processing plant expansion at Kiziltepe underway - an increase of over 300% over the Feasibility Study.
4. Kerim Sener, CEO, added 1m shares
5. New high grade veins identified at Arzu North
6. Chris Sangster, Non Executive Director, buys 210,443 shares
7. Received £25m in cash and new Transformational deal completed.
Goodness me. And that results in a 33% drop in the share price. Value better be recognised soon!!

Market Cap. £45m. Cash in the Bank £25m. Profitable. One of the lowest costs globally.
Backed by a Multi National. Run off Working Capital facility to be cleared by Q3.
Diversified - gold, copper & silver JORC resources.
Investments and stock piles.
Partner in two potential new mines- Tavsan & Salinbas.
Did someone create a new valuation paradigm?

Hi JAF you can see just what I mean by a worked systematic sell . Everytime a buy there a corresponding sell.

I couldn't resist Charles. This is madness. As Soul says the divi is approx 20-25% now.

Thanks Soul, Looks like they will stick to the plan of the low grade in the North then work on the South resource. If they can get enough down there that could make a huge difference to the economics.

It was running at 4g/tThere were veins at 6g/t in recent drilling and these results in the Arzu South drilling-o 12.8m @ 6.09g/t Au + 107.58g/t Ago 2.10m @ 4.75g/t Au + 14.76g/t AuSo hopefully a possibility going forward to run at higher grades?

Lotts it sounds like we will continue to run low grade ore from Arzu North but lots more of it. Unless they find more of the 4/5g per ton stuff near the surface with the drilling at Arzu South then that will possibly need some sort of u/g access.

I was hoping for nearer 30k to be honest, my thinking was these higher grade zones could be brought into play sooner to increase the head grade. What grades were we running at peak? I'll go back through and find it but wondered if anyone expected the same? Sounds pretty certain 25k was the expected high end.
