i did not expect a big immediate impact on sp, more a slow burn as the implications of the jv sink into market consciousness. this will be helped when details and timing of the dividend are available, which will make people wanting to buy in for the divi look at aau and its plentifold other attractions will get noticed.

meantime a full note by pg covering all projects and their revised targets taking account of jv cash would be timely and aau should be strongly pushing for this now.

The upside is that I have been able to add a substantial amount yesterday and today at sale prices. I expect the share price to rise as evidenced by putting my money where my mouth is, I see the share price in the 7's in relatively short order.

Yup, it's about momentum Charles isn't it. Something we had in bounds going into the second half of last year.We now have all the momentum of a team who has been relegated and sitting bottom of the league below after 10 games.

We need to put the share price in perspective. The first announcement of the new JV was 25/11/19 the closing price the previous trading day was 2.05p, it has more than doubled since then, and although I know this share is worth much more that re-rate will not happen until there is news of a new venture, good drilling results of some other blue sky event.
I'm just sitting tight and looking forward to a large dividend.
I can imagine the discussion going on at head quarters at the moment, KS will want to keep as much cash in the company as possible while MDV will be wanting a big payout. Under 0.8p KS will win, over that it's MDV.

Disagree but everyone entitled to their opinion. If you felt it was an error you should have walked by now. If you are still invested after what you perceive as an error then you are actually making your comments at dissatisfaction of shareprice rather than operational or strategic mistake.

Not a massive error in judgement in my book. Whilst Kiziltepe is a cash cow, the firm have clear ambitions to expand and this can't happen as quickly without Ozaltin and the initial cash injection. They are very reliant on Kiziltepe at the moment and hopefully once all is completed, we will see movement in multiple fronts, reducing the over reliance on Kiziltepe. I agree with KS, exciting times.

Yes that is a rather odd statement. There are jam tomorrow mining stocks that have been going up in multiples all over the place as they 'may' have some gold in the dust in some backwater, and latterly copper.
Some are really not jam tomorrow but jam long after this mining boom cycle has burnt out.

We are going to be still producing a very nice income, while a huge company is going to make the jam tomorrow of Tavsan and Salinbas happen a lot sooner and a windfall to buy in to some more very nice jam.
