08/9/2020 11:52 | Paulie, your figures are interesting but could you give a breakdown of your profit figure. Have you included the silver credit twice? | ![]() paul280i
08/9/2020 09:56 | If the MM's drop the ask then some of these weak hands sales can be mopped up, still time to load up before the transformational JV news plus Cyprus has been quietly off the radar, news soon? | ![]() 1candc
07/9/2020 20:19 | Is a way mms release stock?? | ![]() bigglesbingham
07/9/2020 19:43 | If you had a stop loss set at 6.1p would these uncrossing trades trigger that sale? I now never use stop losses after being caught out in my early investing days when the sale got triggered then the price recovered within minutes. | ![]() paul280i
07/9/2020 17:16 | Jan 2006 had a high of 19p apparently but can not remember that but was a holder. I did not follow them too closely as was working then and not a lot invested. | ![]() doinnuthing
07/9/2020 17:07 | The chart says the share price went down at 15:30 and stayed there, yet there are later trades that disagree. If anyone has a viable explanation I would be interested to hear it. Both UT trades had lots of 9's in the volume. Whatever is going on I wont be parting with any of my shares in AAU. | ![]() thanksamillion
07/9/2020 16:46 | I know :)Momentary "wtf" moment though between seeing the share price and then the spread! | kirbs4
07/9/2020 16:46 | They went to 16p ??? Never realised that | ![]() bigglesbingham
07/9/2020 16:45 | Just rectifies itself in morning | ![]() bigglesbingham
07/9/2020 16:41 | What is worse than a UT?A UT being the last trade of the day and the mm's forgetting to set the share price at mid... | kirbs4
07/9/2020 16:36 | Possibly Biggles. My first batch I had when price went up to 16p and did not sell. Those were the days my friend we said they would never end....... | ![]() doinnuthing
07/9/2020 16:05 | Are you going to be in for the long term ??? | ![]() bigglesbingham
07/9/2020 15:56 | "good things come to he who waits". That's what I call patience, well done. | ![]() thanksamillion
07/9/2020 15:44 | I have only two more batches of AAU shares now which are not in profit. Next one to be taken out will be at 7.02 (this one was purchased 2nd August 2007). | ![]() doinnuthing
07/9/2020 14:23 | Maybe, along with the round number trades after it, it is the usual "scare the holders into selling" game. I am in no doubt there are buyers out there....but they don't want to pay going rate do they. Expect an attempt to trigger the stop losses. | ![]() thanksamillion
07/9/2020 14:03 | Not sure what that UT trade at 6.0p signifies, being so far out of the bid/offer range, any ideas | ![]() thanksamillion
07/9/2020 10:44 | Couldn't agree more paulie.....time to sit on our hands for the next two to three months. Keep your cash for when things really tank, especially in the banking sector gald to have some aau | ![]() inntolife
07/9/2020 10:42 | All depends when you sell up Charles, long-termers can wait for Dollar to recover if its an issue. | ![]() thanksamillion
07/9/2020 10:23 | All depends on the future value of the dollar. If it tanks we'd be giving away a large proportion of the company very cheaply | ![]() charles clore
07/9/2020 10:19 | Interesting to see that whilst the market recovers somewhat, the banking shares have remained at almost all time lows. I think this says a lot about the future of our economy unfortunately. Can’t help but feel we have some terrible news coming. On the plus side, companies such as AAU will offer a hedge against this, albeit there could be some volatility due to being an equity. However, with 30m to come and between 1-3 highly cash generative assets over the next 3 years, I think AAU offers a great risk/reward play whilst building in some form of hedge in these circumstances. | ![]() pauliewonder
07/9/2020 09:57 | I could almost hear the sarcasm ooozing from those double dots ... LOL | ![]() pedr01 |
