24/10/2019 21:23 | Not exactly true stoneme. It’s estimated that at least half the Chinese miners will be unprofitable if BTC falls to approximately 6.5k. If this happens the hashrate will fall. Potentially considerably, but Argo will still be profitable and will mine more BTC as other miners switch off. | scottman72

24/10/2019 12:07 | I had a limit buy set at 5.9 - 6.0p for 500k ARB. Just took it off. No longer want them at that level. This MAY generate a run. But the risk falling, now below 6/5.5p is great than a run up to 8/9p IMHO. Bottom line for ARB is where is the cash generation from the huge investment in new machines. Their ROI calculations are going to be destroyed if BTC calls below 6k | stoneme
23/10/2019 22:25 | Would be nice to get an update on the break even price of bitcoin mining. | ![]() hootza616
23/10/2019 19:52 | BTC is more likely to go down under $5,000 rather than going up over $10,000. Don't dream to be a millionaire from BTC. | roger207
23/10/2019 14:23 | Thanks for your reply StoneMe.Looks like its heading down to your entry point.I still have a problem with the Hashrate not reversing. Its now at its all time high and if BTC still carries on falling results will be nowhere near this summers ROI. | ![]() riddlerone
23/10/2019 11:29 | Interesting, thank you slicethepie, I will have a look. I admit I had to google it, though was aware of another on NEX called Coinsilium. Anything on the main market or AIM that is worth a look? | cryptique
23/10/2019 10:59 | This consolidation period around 8,000 is in the same area as when it was going up to 12,000 in May and June. It should last the same length of time so around the end of October we are coming to decision time. To return to the 12,000 area or to fall to the 5,500 area. My inclination is for 5,500 (where I expect it to consolidate before bouncing strongly upwards due to another important line coming upwards). But who knows? | ![]() horneblower

21/10/2019 08:15 | Can we have more of this irrelevant BTC trading please?Seems to have shifted the price 4% higher somehow?Remember there are plenty of places in the world where Sunday is not a day of rest and BTC is a truly global 24/7 traded commodity. The Arab nations could be investing? | ![]() hootza616

20/10/2019 13:23 | FIAT MONEY V GOLD AND BTC. I am betting on the latter, by buying Gold shares and what could become one of the biggest miners ARB. Far too cheap IMHO | ![]() parsons4

18/10/2019 16:38 | Can't do it with gold either. Devaluing Fiat money like this simply increases the value of solid incorruptible assets such as BTC and Gold. Why would anyone store cash which continues to be worth less and less year on year in addition to corrupt banks charging to look after it for you? | ![]() hootza616

18/10/2019 13:10 | German Bank expects BTC to hit $90,000 after May 2020 02 OCT 2019 $90,000 AFTER MAY 2019 A state-backed German bank has predicted that Bitcoin will hit a price of $90,000 after May 2020, in anticipation of the halvening of new supply which will reduce the number of new bitcoins mined at a time from 12.5 to 6.25, will digitally expedite the process of inducing scarcity - the quality that made gold valuable over the course of many millennia. | ![]() lithological heterogeneities
18/10/2019 12:11 | I have continued to try. . It is not a straight forward process, and my forecasts as to the impact on ARB would not be well received here. Currently out. But would again buy for a punt at the right price . . . Which on my model is now sub 6p. | stoneme |
