"RNS stated they had mined 161 bitcoin in June and 163 bitcoin in July. Since then the company has not released monthly figures on bitcoin production."....the difficulty rate must have increased by 30% since those last figures surely?

horneblower, are you invested at the moment or waiting for the BTC price to curve up again?
Thanks

Thank goodness they have been converting their mined coin into Canadian and US dollars.
Can't think how the crazy suggestion that they might not have got started.

However, to my knowledge, the main question has not been answered yet. How many coins did they manage to mine in August and September?

On 6th August an RNS stated they had mined 161 bitcoin in June and 163 bitcoin in July. Since then the company has not released monthly figures on bitcoin production.

I reckon we should get a statement from them probably this week regarding August and September production and I am expecting some really good figures.

Good luck all.

"The Company plans to provide a third-quarter operational update in early October."

02 Oct INTERVIEW

Question -
The main question from investors...What proportion of Bitcoin is converted into cash?
Answer:
 We hold very little Bitcoin
We convert into $Canadian (cash) our primary cost of production and $US (cash) our primary cost of assets ,so we have very little exposure to Bitcoin on the balance sheet.

Other:
Q3 results (up to 30 Sep) "are preparing them".
Will have 12,000 machines mining Bitcoin.

Fantastic news !

The main question has now been cleared up. Do they just keep holding Bitcoin and use up operating cash from their 12m Placing or do they sell it for cash...and the answer is ....SELL IT FOR CASH to run the business and buy new equipment.

FANTASTIC !

And they are producing their first Q3 results to show this "in early October".

When these are issued and we see actual positive cash generation/revenue then this will re-rate significantly especially with an increase from 6000 machines to 12,000 in the coming months.

Cannot wait for this set of results to be issued. I think this could be a real game changer for ARB who are significantly undervalued compared to their peers.

Some mention is made as to supply and demand always identical when applied to any matter. There's a few Generals over many centuries might disagree with that. "Barbarossa" comes to mind, as a case in point. When starving and freezing to death what would carry the highest demand? To be warm or to eat?

With BTC, do you sell a coin for dollars, euros or sterling? Would depend which of the fiat currencies gives best value. Apples and pears, value wise, would be always very close. Not so fiat exchange rates.
