27/9/2019 12:22 | Miton sold many other shares down. What price did they enter? I think sub 4p. From my analysis of them they are never long term holders. Help companies raise cash and quick exit once they have made a quick buck. | stoneme
27/9/2019 12:19 | Been trying to rebuy at 7.5p, being 20% benefit from my earlier selling. If these goes below 6p without news, I would be astonished. .My earlier strategy was buying below 7p. Always intended trading anything above 10p. Got greedy, held too long. For me there remains 2 scenarios for ARB. Their mining continues to increase in line with the new machines, or they are generating a lower return due to mining difficulty increasing. If it's the latter, and dependant upon both the scale of the challenge and the BTC price, this could be a share to walk away from. If it's the former, we are heading way beyond double figured share price and not looking back. Who knows the sure? Potential range for share price could be 5p or 50p in short time. Some may ask, why 50p?Assuming BTC recovers, stabilises back at $10k, which is what most analysts believe mid term (less than 3 months), and ARB are mining 3 / 4 times the BTC from their June / July updates, that's 500+ BTCs, or £3m + per month Profit. | stoneme
27/9/2019 12:01 | horneblower have you not been looking at recent holding RNS? Hadron and Miton reducing their holdings. To say 2 x 1m trade was Pi's is nonesense | ![]() zed2002
27/9/2019 11:40 | These aren't funds that are selling down; the trades and the daily volume are too small. It's PI's. No-one knows how far this will fall but the charts suggest to me that BTC is likely to go to around 6,000 after jiggling about a bit. It is almost bound to bounce strongly from there as that is close to its rising support line. Where that places ARB rather depends on whether they have been hoarding their mined coins or have turned them into dollars. If they've been hoarding them then ARB is likely to go to between 5 and 6p. If not then it probably won't go below 7p imo. | ![]() horneblower
27/9/2019 10:56 | Stoneme, im looking forward to October RNS but i guess it all depends on the content of what they will be saying. There are alot of doubters out there who really dont understand how this works which is fair enough. What i want to see is how many btc mined with how many machines and how many machines been installed. Im expecting higher BTC minted with extra 1000 machines online. You made a right call taking out 75% at 9p whilst the funds are selling down as it provides you with better opportunity to buy back in low with more shares. Good Call. | ![]() zed2002
27/9/2019 10:51 | Where is the bottom? At $8 per BTC, 25% lower than earlier announcements, assuming their mining rate had increased in line with new machines, we should still see BTC value mined per month at c. 2m per month, or 24m annually. At $10 per BTC, assuming 300-500 BTC mined per month, we are mining 1.5 times the market cap. Crazy. That October update cannot come soon enough. If they are not mining at a higher rate proportionate the the new machines, the bears on this thread have it. Opinions? NB: I took 75% of my holding out at 9p. Looking to add back once BTC calms and / or ARB clarify. | stoneme
27/9/2019 10:21 | 100% agree. This is and has been an accumulation period and will be for the next year even though BTC will easily pass $25k before halving imo | ![]() aidenabettin
27/9/2019 09:20 | Bitcoin (BTC) is a buy and it has never been the right time to sell it, serial investment manager Mark Yusko has told mainstream media viewers.Yusko on Bitcoin: All indicators risingSpeaking to CNBC in an interview on Sept. 27, the founder, CEO & chief investment officer of Morgan Creek Capital Management compared Bitcoin's ten-year history to Amazon. He was responding to concerns from regular cryptocurrency host Melissa Lee over the Bitcoin price, which fell below $8,000 on Thursday. For Yusko, while the price of Bitcoin can go up and down, year-on-year growth gives a solid reason to buy and not sell it. "All the indicators of the network and the network value are rising; the price of any asset fluctuates," he explained. Examples included network hash rate, transaction volume and wallet numbers, all of which have continued their upward trajectory this year. Betting on a bullish returnYusko thus concluded that selling Bitcoin would be like selling shares in Amazon - so far, there has not been an advantageous point to do so. "In every year, including this year, it's had a double-digit drawdown. The average peak-to-trough: 31%, twice 90%. When was the right time to sell? Never," he said.Earlier this month, Fundstrat Global Advisors co-founder Tom Lee predicted Bitcoin would rally once the S&P 500 put in new highs. | ![]() ragnarr
