Apologies if this may sound naive, but does ARB make money when Bitcoin goes up AND down so the more volatility the better?

Suffers - to check - my assumption is this is a sensible ARB thread with no trolls / TA bashing (as clearly TA encompasses all fundamental info by its nature and is extremely useful), but also allows sensible chat on fundamentals (but tell me if no). For example, I would love to share that at current new hash rate and $/TH/s, ARB is tracking at over £3m mining margin per month.

Any thoughts on why such sharp move in BTC this am? Futures / options expiry related, breaking of key level on downtrend (I find channels seem to work quite well on BTC), front-running Saylor's conference, something else, a bit of everything?

Well my one more spike was to 20p after years of pain and stress with my mortgage on the line. Missed the big one but still made a packet, and a lot more since trading between 80 to 120Current investment here is slightly up after adding more below 70.I'm going to give it until end of March before selling as convinced BTC will fly from here to $90k in less than 30 days. Selling ARB at £3 from here.

Not sure what your waiting for Nico? What is it you want? Whatever you do it could be painful to watch it go up after you sell and down if you don't.However you don't make any profit until you sell.

Quite a bit of selling to get out of the way under 100p I reckon - lots of buying down at 70-80p, that's a lot of profit at 90p, although the jump this morning would have caught out a lot of potential buyers.

Good to have some sanity on here, the other thread is junk status.

That surge in BTC is promising indeed. Really bullish in cementing trading range in the $30-$38 until it tries new highs.

So 2Tyke has a new handle here? The only idiot who could ramp a dog like OBC!

Depends entirely on what rating you want to apply, but even in little old UK, there are ratings of 40-60 for 'normal' companies growing profits fast, which might be say 15% of revenue. imo ARB is way off normal on that metric.

Thanks for the clarification re your use of EW.Just to point out 2Tyke also ramped OBC here earlier.Since he left the other thread this morning after telling us the chart did what it was expected to, again, in hindsight, after the event, and he was effectively told to sling his hook. This is the correct thread for TA including all EW predictions right?
