28/1/2021 22:50 | More on Dalio and his 'alt-cash' fund.Although when he says 'it's not scarce as there are many other Bitcoin like assets' you know he hasn't really got it at all. He's just fomo'ing like all the big funds now. Saylor has basically forced their hand as funds are compared to their peers and clients are going to be saying WTF in a years time if their fund manager didn't provide them some level of crypto exposure. 28/1/2021 22:43 | Hi bapodra, About the potential double bottom you allude to. Yes, it looks to be in play. There is an elliott wave interpretation of the double bottom but that's not want I want to express in this post. As i'm sure you know, as you're the one who has pointed this feature out. The double bottom is only 'confirmed' as a double bottom once the neckline of the pattern as been breached by price. The neckline is at 34.8k and so btc needs to put on another 1.5k points or so yet. But tomorrows volatility may well achieve this. Breaking of the neckline would likely result in a powerful move higher. | 2tyke

28/1/2021 21:38 | Personally I don't think SNF is daft, he just has an annoying habit of suggesting everyone else is. | hootza616
28/1/2021 21:36 | Institutions, gurus, pundits etc. all talk it down before buying in. Just like on here. | yump
28/1/2021 21:34 | Two things to remember. The futures expiry tomorrow with around $11bn on the line. The virtual conference starting Feb 3rd which will engender huge interest in BTC and Crypto. | crypto nugget

28/1/2021 21:29 | Well, that's interesting. Will only need Musk now to commit to putting bitcoin or even a percentage in bitcoin into the Tesla treasury reserve and it's off to the races and $100,000 here we come. In any case, there will be massive institutional and company interest now in BTC going forward. But - I must say, that's why SNF's forecasts here of £3, £5 and £10 are all very feasible. £36 yes, when BTC passes the $1m mark. So, maybe he's not so daft after all. | crypto nugget
28/1/2021 21:23 | Anyway more added value on this balanced thread "Regarding our bitcoin strategy, our pioneering decision to make bitcoin our primary treasury reserve asset has made MicroStrategy a thought leader in the cryptocurrency market and generated great interest in MicroStrategy as a corporation. Going forward, we continue to plan to hold our bitcoin and invest additional excess cash flows in bitcoin. Additionally, we will explore various approaches to acquire additional bitcoin as part of our overall corporate strategy." Just hot off press!! Those TA who are short BTC about to get their walnuts squeezed | nico115
28/1/2021 21:19 | You must be deluded if you think Suffers is leaving knocker! I guarantee he will be posting here just as much as over there.Anyhoo, you are most welcome and I for one look forward to reading your views on BTC and ARB. | hootza616
28/1/2021 21:15 | Great news. Congratulations and many thanks SNF Please do not withhold any of your insights from The True Believers. Some will by now be becoming dispirited that your share price forecast remains only £36. Surely it must be good for at least £50 by now? If you are not careful they will lose heart, sell up, and buy lottery tickets. 'Onwards and upwards' old son. Once you and all the other 'the sky's the limit, and nailed on provided none of us rock the boat' brigade have left this board, those who remain can look forward to a balanced, civilised, debate, with all thoughts wecome. They can look forward to identifying opportunities to trade in and out of ARB, de-risking their holdings, and making a bit of money. Once a week or so has passed without your handle appearing on this board, I look forward to rejoining and contributing to that conversation. | 1knocker
28/1/2021 21:13 | The point raised about clean energy use is an interesting debate. Personally I don't think producing and using clean energy is any justification for wasting it. So if the powers that be in any country believe BTC is a waste of energy, wherever it comes from, then there is a risk mining could be restricted in some areas. Using energy that would normally be wasted such as excess hydro like they use in China is obviously free from criticism, but how much do ARB use that would otherwise feed the national grid?I am no expert but welcome a debate on this as would like to consider all possible risks to BTC becoming mainstream. | hootza616
