09/9/2019 09:52 | Roger - They have loads of cash and will make more in the coming months. This is a stock to hold for a minimum of 2 years. I expect BTC to significantly rise before Xmas as news of its wider adoption come through. This will positively affect ARB and by then ARB has already installed the 7000 new machines leading to increasing cash pile. IMO it will pleasantly surprise in the progress it made in a short time. | ![]() fuji99

06/9/2019 16:11 | i refer my honourable friend to some the of news published by arb regulatory news - an example ' (Alliance News) - Argo Blockchain PLC on Tuesday said it generated 163 Bitcoins during July, equivalent to GBP1.4 million of cryptoassets. The GBP1.4 million figure is based on a Bitcoin price of USD10,122' I think its safe to say not sold any yet and guess what btc is now 10.8 - i will leave the maths to my honourable friend, unless of course he requires a referendum on the subject | ![]() liveit2

06/9/2019 13:56 | Usually see figures of around 10 or 11% of Bitcoin users making payments in BTC. The rest being speculators (I'd class a holder as a long term speculator). | ![]() soupdragon55
06/9/2019 13:42 | Thanks fuji. It's the actual usage of bitcoin for purchasing I'm after. The first link shows outlets but not usage. The second shows a chart that demonstrates that the Transaction Amount to Active Addresses Ratio (TAAR) rises and falls in very close correlation with the dollar price of bitcoin, which is to be expected. However, it does show that ratio declining marginally relative to bitcoin over time. This probably reflects a gradual rise in the number of active addresses...which is positive but not that strong. It may be impossible to get the actual usage figures but I live in hope. | ![]() horneblower
06/9/2019 13:40 | Bit of an annomly today. BTC well up!! ARB should really act as a leverage to the bitcoin price. 🤔 | ![]() ilostthelot
06/9/2019 13:04 | If Bakkt takes off I am sure ARB will get a lift as many funds will want crypto companies stock as well as coin and hedging as part of the overall investment instrument. -------------------- | ![]() fuji99
06/9/2019 12:45 | BTC steadily progressing towards $11k. Could be they are preparing the results too. In the previous they flagged up their operational targets were above expectations (machines etc.). | ![]() fuji99 |
