There seem to be several people here who know a thing or two, maybe a different thing or two, but at least its not an echo chamber. That would be more dangerous than crypto itself. Er, not that I agree its dangerous ala BBC of course.

I'm excluding the obvious one-liner 'doomed' brigade from that of course. At least here most of the rampers have a bit of reasoning, other than just a target.

I have only been here a short while, and sadly didn't buy ARB at 4p or 8, but a reasonable chunk at 10p.

I can say hand on heart, that SNF has been obliging in answering my queries, and very informative to all if they have a query that needs answering and also very valuable with his views.

You, on the other hand, have offered precisely nothing.

It's ok for you to predict prices here many times a day but I can't predict macro events ?I predicted the 87 and 2000 and 2007 crashes And you will thank me when the H2 one comes along Will btc crash ? Not sure but think will fall with all risk assets .

Great call hope you are right I see btc at 200k by June and then a halving at some point in the next few months from those levels as the dollar appreciates and equites crash over 70pct

Risk management - simple as thatI'm currently running 14k pp equiv between Sipp and spreads - too much to leave at the mercy of a black swan My view is well know 300 is nailed on, 500 very likely and 1000+ if all the stars align but still need to manage risk

if the btc price is likely to go up then why sell now?

if you though the btc price was going to drop (perhaps only over the short to medium term) then you could sell and buy back.

you may just want to crystallise gains I suppose, perhaps I’m greedy and will regret it but plan to sell on the way up til btc makes the 100k.

Sold my last tranche at 120, will look again at 160.

I won't be waiting for a tenner to sell!I've derisked and pulled an additional 100k out so far.I have a 50k trading position I'll sell around 160 and then 250k around 220p - after that gains will be much harder so I might switch a lot of it into BTC and ETH for my cold wallet.I'll def keep a toe in for £10 though :)
