Great to see, for the time being, volatility in both the share price & this BB cool down and able to read back the few posts every couple of hours, instead of finding 150 posts, mostly nonsense.

If you want to figure out the MM's smaller games, I think what I would feel like doing if they dropped this to 80p or jumped it to 140p. Both generate sellers and buyers for different reasons.

For instance, FOMO was not present at 5p, but it probably was as soon as it shot through 10p. MM's would get the same FOMO result with and without the buyers.

If they jumped this to 140p they'd have to work out whether the FOMO's that come in, would compensate for the others that decide to sell as it was a previous high.

etc. etc. probably. I think.

agree MM have 2 GCSEs and are bit clever at times especially with an active stock like AGRO .There is so much Chaos in the world plus Banks and Governments realise that printing money to get out of doodoo is not the only solution .

Many thanks to all. Vm appreciated. (I am learning.!) Seems counter intuitive. Moral of the story : In the absence of negative news....BUY when the mms reduce the price and not fall into their 'trap' ? !

Mms herd pi's like sheep. If they want 2 way business they narrow spread, they widen it during high volatility to slow trade. If you want a seller drop the bid or move in the ask. If you want a buyer, up the bid.Argo is shooting fish in a barrel for mms. Watch them march up the price later to offload on the cheap shares they've taken off U.K. buyers this morning.

It's always a balance between greedy buyers and scared sellers.
If you lower the price do the greedy get greedier than the scared get scareder.

Why pay 1.10 for a share if you could pay 1.05? Investors waiting for a higher value might get bored, worried, frustrated etc with the lack of movement sell at the lower price and move on etc etc

why would a mm supress a price to load up ?? Surely they would increase it to attract sellers ?? (i.e. As a buyer i would wait for a price to be reduced)...

Much better today. Very little volatility. Trading 1.05 to 1.10. Traders i don't think can make much.

They won't be able to. Too much pressure from US buyers. It's been the pattern. They take shares off of weak U.K. holders and sell at a nice premium to more forward thinking US ones.

Think we can expect a few more days of MMs playing around like this, suppressing the price to load up on stock. This one caught them by surprise
