Well dne to those that held yesterday.

Looks like it will open 110p to 120p and go towards 150p either today or Friday.
I plan to buy on the bell now, Bitcoin heading towards 50k. Reckon we could see 200p by Friday, easily double bagger.

Although I haven't been here that long, I've studied crypto and BTC in particular for a while.

I can now see SNF's basis for a possible $100,000 BTC price, possibly this year, as the rises appear to be quite exponential, so as we pass each band of $10,000 the same percentage rise equates to a bigger nominal one.

There are probably many institutions out there who look on BTC $37,000 as exceedingly cheap.

It could be in a couple of years we all look back at BTC $37,000 and ARB £1 as laughable.

True Brasso3, but their portfolio mix is interesting and the rise in price and interest in Stellar no doubt helps with their crypto play.

BTC motoring again this morning, now $37,250. I'm wondering to what extent now the institutions are buying BTC.

It seems to have recovered swiftly from the lows last week below $30,000 and rises nowadays come in bigger chunks, so wondering whether we'll hear in the next few weeks or more institutional interest.

ARB is 100% crypto where as BLU is around 10% crypto (Estimate). I do not think you can compare the two.

Trent - I've got 3.2m BLU for a 12-month hold.

Looks like Slater selling and White buying, but don't think Slater will sell anymore as he tweeted tonight that he'll convert some warrants. So that should stop any derampers who think that he's going to sell constantly. Probably the reason why they stalled a bit this afternoon.

King Suarez posted revised numbers today. Just stick in the new BTC price and you'll see how powerful the gearing is.If you look at Blonity's model you can see the higher ranges in his projections.

SFN - re the gearing in ARB and the increased capacity coming next month.

If for arguments sake - and these are only figures plucked out of thin air by me - a $1000 increase in BTC leads to an increase in bottom line profit of 5% between BTC $30-40,000, what would the increase in profit be at say BTC $50,000 or $100,000.

I'm trying to get my head around this viz a viz gold miners who like ARB have basically fixed costs but a corresponding increase in the gold price means higher percentage profits the higher the gold price goes.

Sorry if I sound confused but I think you get my drift.

Grateful for your view.

BTW BTC now at $37,000.

Well it all starts to get silly beyond a certain point as the gearing combined with the increased ability to HODL means that profit goes into the hundreds of millions! Plus mining difficulty becomes too difficult to predict beyond a certain point.

Dorset - I use trailing stops with trading but not investing.Arb is all about valuation. There will be volatility along the way but eventually fair value will out. If you put an arbitrary stop (bad pun!) in place you are selling based on price action NOT valuation.

Nico, the only thing I do on shares that have massively jumped up is to install a trailing stop loss circa 20% below the previous days close. I'm in a nice profit position and will each evening after close just cancel the last nights order and raise it again for tomorrow's opening.

Unlike many overhyped companies that promise the world and run at a loss, this is a fairly simple business to model and value which is spewing out digital gold ... only pretty limited inputs here, so not sure about impossible to value. Align Research report is fairly simple to follow re a valuation. This still looks cheap to me, unless you think BTC is going to fall back ... assuming BTC is going to be quite a bit higher when the new rigs come on (which I think is a reasonable assumption), you can understand why the market has woken up to this (I have already made the mistake of getting ahead of myself and selling too soon, so am going to be a lot more cautious before I sell the next share).
