06/1/2021 18:26 | Bought a few this morning and have been looking at valuations, which is tricky for a new market (crypto miner, limited competitor reference points for PEs) and the fluctuating value of the underlying asset.... so this is just a bit of fun :), to validate some of the big numbers that maybe possible. Assumptions/ considerations: 1. Gross margin is around 60% so will consider net profit/ margin is around 30% and margins are maintained 2. They maintain roughly 2000 coins a year mined. (Is this possible, if more miners, more difficultly will this number reduce?) If av annual sale price of BTC is $35k: $11k Net profit at 2000 coins is $22m or about £17m PE of 30 (S&P av) gives MCap of £410m or share price of £1.30 ish I think this is where we should be at a minimum but... If BTC averages $50k and net profit/ margin of say 35% thats a MCAP of £700m or share price of £2.30 ish Now you could suggest that rather than a PE of 30, a high growth tech stock PE of 100 is more appropriate which at av annual BTC sale price of $50k gives a MCAP of £2.4Bn or share price of £8. Bear in mind the BTC price will fluctuate massively and so sales will occur right at the top 100k? 200, 300K and lower down too, so av BTC sale price could be significantly higher than $50k I would imagine that BTC will move up towards $50k now, minor moves down (10%) therefore ARGO likely to maintain trend up for now...(no major pullbacks). Anyway, just for fun :) sif | sif12

06/1/2021 17:27 | Yet again congratulations to all those who have made an absolute packet here in the last few weeks. I now turn my attention to those that wished they had, but take the view they have missed the boat at a £200 million market cap, that ARGO now stands in at. It’s a geared play on Bitcoin “s future performance and to date has been the correct, one way bet. Well done //////////////////// For those that want to research the only other slant on Blockchain, listed on the premium sector of the LSE TRD Valued at just a poxy £12M and £4M of that, is cash. Their Blockchain model is BAAS Blockchain as a service. (See framework agreement) It’s a real business established over 30 years ago and has U.K. government contracts, and is highly respected and in profit . | sunshine today

06/1/2021 16:50 | A very nice day. Only dark hole is my filter list is growing by the day. If my hunch is correct and oilisgold is chuntering on about placings, then he's thicker than I thought. Must agree though with SNF's thoughts on the matter. A placing at £5 would be welcome! All eyes across the pond now then and on the BTC price. | crypto nugget
