02/12/2020 08:56 | Its important to be aware of this and buy the dips instead of selling them. | ![]() brasso3
02/12/2020 08:52 | In the 2017 bull run there were at least 5 significant pull backs (~30%) on the weekly chart:- | ![]() brasso3
02/12/2020 08:51 | Hootza - Because it always does! If you look back over the 2017 bull run there were EIGHT pullbacks of 30pc plus. One of 45pc! Yet in each case the price had recovered and gone higher within weeeks. It's absolutely the best entry point for BTC. Sell a spike, buy the pullback. Some are saying that the pullbacks will be smaller in the run, on the basis institutions will step in quicker, supply/demand blah blah. But as we've seen this last week these don't stop very deep short term corrections. | ![]() suffersnofools
02/12/2020 08:48 | Hootza The point is that BTC will have lots of 20% - 30% correction over 2021 if the models are correct. If you are invested then do not panic as long as it stays above the 21 week MA IMO. | ![]() brasso3
02/12/2020 08:44 | Hootza, Try 8th Mar'17. | ![]() horneblower
02/12/2020 08:34 | We are not worthy! | ![]() hootza616
02/12/2020 08:33 | What evidence is there that this correction you soothsayers speak of will happen and if it does will it recover quickly? If we consider the current price action against the 2017 18 run then we could be positioned just after 11th December 2017 and the next pull back after that lasted 3 years! | ![]() hootza616
02/12/2020 08:32 | Sideshow, would love you to enlighten us on your thoughts on ARB chart. | ![]() mnomis
02/12/2020 08:15 | Yes good to track all the time frames (daily/ weekly). We will need a correction but I would like to see it at $25k back down to the $19k region. That would look very attractive on the chart to go all in (that would be stupid but you know what I mean). | ![]() brasso3
02/12/2020 08:12 | It's just that 19300/400 region that is tough to hold, but just a matter of time. Brasso - I'm expecting the weekly 20ema to get tested during the next major correction, once we've gone a few thousand higher. It should also be around the 15k area in the next week or so so another data point suggesting that is going to be a good entry level. | ![]() suffersnofools
02/12/2020 08:07 | I'm fully aware of the 20ema significance for BTC over each timeframe ;) | ![]() suffersnofools
02/12/2020 08:00 | BTC up 800+ pts in last 4 hours! Nice for UK open. 20ema now @17750 and tested 2 days ago so all good on that front. | ![]() suffersnofools
02/12/2020 07:46 | Little pull back in BTC. We could do with some consolidation soon to let the 21 week MA catch up. | ![]() brasso3
01/12/2020 19:55 | Ref ARB..? | ![]() sideshowbull
01/12/2020 19:50 | Broken out of that big triangle @19050 - could run higher now.... | ![]() suffersnofools
01/12/2020 19:44 | Good luck with that.. Mining numbers and actual BTC held might help. Never owned 1 ARB so please don't think I want in. BWTFDIK | ![]() sideshowbull
01/12/2020 19:42 | I am not sure I understand how ETH miners will make the same money with ETH 2.0. How do they earn money with the transition from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake? | ![]() brasso3
01/12/2020 19:42 | Trent - yes I'm a big ETH fan. I used to mine it when it was around $9! I think ETH is a great holding alongside BTC as different use case and the biggest ecosystem for other crypto projects. It should outperform once BTC stabilises above 20k | ![]() suffersnofools
01/12/2020 19:37 | Someone mentioned ETH earlierOwn a lot of ARB but just taken a big position in HIVE on TSXThey are a big ETH miner so a nice hedge and still could go a lot further on ETH or BTC movesSame leverage storyThe China power cut to miners are very bullishUS miners in strong position now geopolitically | ![]() trentendboy
01/12/2020 19:36 | On the long term chart I just see a big W formation. I would not be surprised to see a pennant or ascending triangle form around here between 10p and 12p now. | ![]() brasso3
01/12/2020 19:24 | Brass you looking at ARB chart? Comment.. You may know what I will say, but let's see.. BWTFDIK | ![]() sideshowbull
01/12/2020 19:19 | I think very few hold gold but in the 60:40 typical portfolio allocation they are heavy on bonds which are doomed IMO. | ![]() brasso3
01/12/2020 19:05 | They have to hold gold, it's a rule. They have to hold bonds. They have to doesn't mean I have to., BWTFDIK | ![]() sideshowbull
01/12/2020 18:59 | I think the gold paper market will collapse at some point and gold will find true value. I obviously think there are bigger rewards with BTC albeit slightly more speculative. The hedge funds/ institutions/ pensions will transfer the safe part of their portfolios from bonds to gold at some point. | ![]() brasso3
01/12/2020 18:57 | Historically you'd expect the next commodities cycle to be starting now. I think gold can see 4k in that run but still a sack of &&&& compared to crypto potential. Peter Schiff must be doing his nut watching crypto outperform again! Then what happens when we start mining asteroids in 25 years and loads of gold turns up in one :) | ![]() suffersnofools |
